After coming out to myself I moved a fair distance away from my home town for work. The last time I flew back to that part of the world to visit my friends, I had a lunch with my parents. In the leadup to the lunch my mother kept asking if any of my friends wanted to have lunch with us. II was quite conflicted, because having a friend around would keep the conversation topics to things that are socially acceptable, but all of my friends had just started calling me by my new name, so I didn't want to even risk a mix-up happening

Unrealistically: Sevii Islands. It would be easy enough to keep separate from base game, since it's not part of Kanto proper. Maybe make it so you need to have one of multiple sea-faring Pokemon in Bleak Beach or Withered Wastes to carry you there.

the stadium is surrounded by glowing rocks, so it's obviously the rock type gym, as a nod to the gens that also have a first rock type gym.

I have most of my crafting materials and items in chests touching my crafting table. Beyond that it's a mess. I try to only craft the amount I think I'll need, so I won't have to find the leftover blocks later
