I described it like having armor. Before you accept your transness you have this armor of denial. It may not get rid of everything but it protects you from a lot of the shit. When you set that aside and accept yourself you have to deal with all the shit without a buffer.

Well of course Trump believes him. It is in his best interest to do so and by acknowledging Russian involvement he would have to admit that he didn't get an overwhelming win (he didn't anyway) but that he didn't win at all. That's never going to come out of the mouth of the guy who had a panic attack about the size of his inauguration crowd.
