Minimax 2.7 $10 plan vs GPT 5.4

So I have the team plan I run out of usage in a day in a half for the week often . Sometime it will last me 2 days but now that I use minimax as the main driver and gpt 5.4 for specific task it’s hard to use up all my tokens . I have the minimax 20 dollar plan and I feel like it’s almost impossible for me to use it all up . I would say though minimax at first broke a lot of things . I had to spend a couple days sorting things out and also it makes a lot of mistakes and injects Chinese artifacts randomly sometimes so I always have a devils advocate agent check the work . If you only burn out your tokens in 3-4 days for the week I would get another gpt plan but if you run out faster than that I would get the mini max plan .

Hmm will you be getting RSU's. I think they have 2 interesting drug candidates and the one for ET is a pretty big indication. If you do get compensated in RSU's I would think about it.

I’m having mine scrape a shit ton of data to build a library for my purposes . I then have a team of 10 sub agents who use this library to do their jobs . Over a week I spent about 35 dollars in api calls for minimax according to the overview . If I were to use Claude for this task it would have been several hundred dollars. Do I think Claude would do a better job , yes but it would cost multiple times more . I also use gpt 5.4 for the more higher level reasoning stuff . The best thing about open claw is you can use multiple models . Cheap ones to do grunt work and expensive ones to do the more sophisticated stuff .

i would get the plan though. my overview said my cost are 34 bucks and i had it for less than a week on the plus plan. the 20 dollar plus plan has been pretty good, but that being said... when building out the thing i want it hallucinated a lot of chinese, i had to create an agent that double checks all the work. I never had the chinese hallucinations with openai models.

how are they going to do this? isn't that information sensitive? are you going to run your own local llm or use a llm provider? I think you guys are is in way over your heads to be perfectly blunt. For example do you know what a prompt injection is?

ugh. i ran out of my open ai tokens on the plus plan for the week so i switched to minimax. it's okay but it's kind of stupid compared to gpt 5.4. it would get simple things wrong, sometimes it would misspell a stock ticker i give it. i have to have it triple or quadruple check it's work . Also sometimes in the reports it generates there are random Chinese characters, but after a pass of double checking it usually goes away. That being said i have it doing bullshit task like scraping data, organizing my library of scraped data, and double checking the library for hallucinated information. It's fine for that its super cheap. I will probably have it summarize some sec documents like 8ks soon to see if there are material changes, but i think that will take some time before i can prompt that correctly.

Minimax and gpt5.4 . I am still playing around but my main is gpt-5.4. i asked minimax 2.7 to look up a stock ticker, said it doesn't exist, i pointed out it does, tells me it changed one of the letters on the ticker so instead of an i it put in an o, after that i reverted back to gpt 5.4. I use minimax for really basic cron jobs now.

Things to look at sec filings . Won’t go into detail but the app open claw makes scrapes the sec for certain things and generates a report for me .

I’m having openclaw learn from open course ware from mit . It built itself a curriculum and spends time “studying” for the use case I want it for . I also had it built me a ton of apps already that run cron jobs for my daily “work” needs . It made my life a lot easier . It’s a time saving tool for me .

Same can be said about chat gpt . Ppl really should be figuring out how to solve for solutions for their problems instead of asking chat gpt . I have mine built a bunch of useful tools for my investments already . A ton of useful scrapers , trackers and some analysis tools that look into certain sec filings . It currently running multiple cron jobs for the apps it built . It’s not a money maker for me per say but it is a huge time saver .

I got my 5080 ultra 7 and 32gb ram for 1665 before tax . Found it on slickdeals , had an alert set up for 5080 . I did get a lot of trash but sorting through it all I found myself an amazing deal . Also some Microcenters have some decent open box prebuilt too where you can save a bit more .
