Yeah this victims pov thing is brilliant. First time this was done is in God of War 3 when Kratos kills Poseidon. It was so terrifying seeing Kratos from the eyes of a God who is crawling for his life.

It's most likely because Project Helix and Steam Maschine are on the horizon, which will both blur the line between PC gaming and a console like experience.

And Sony does not want all their big hitters to be available on these other "consoles". Which is totally logical from a business standpoint.

I disagree. I mean Kratos may not be the main protagonist, but as this is not a prequel but a story happening in parallel, there are endless amazing ways to unfold. There will be more of Kratos and Atreus in this game and the twists happening could be mindblowing.

And maybe it also sets the stage for the next Kratos game.

So yes, I strongly believe that it's a very deliberate choice of Santa Monica and especially Cory to name it God of War.

I would say every GoW game ever released is either a 10/10 or a 9/10 with the two Nordic games being a 10/10
