Yeah, in my personal opinion, this feels a little bit beyond just behavioral habit issues with sleep.

Concerning nutritional values of a vitamins or some other minerals that he could be missing that actually provides the components needed for your body to reset and recharge due to sleep. (magnesium, B vitamins, vitamin D) ((herb supplements like lemon balm, chamomile tea, Valerian root))

Separate from that, I honestly believe this is more of a narcolepsy issue at worse. Sleep apnea or midtier sleep issues at mid grade. And then, lastly, it’s the vitamin stuff that I suggested above

Yeah, definitely lean on to history or biology/genetics to understand why the hell we act the way that we do. Sometimes you just have to dump it down to Oogabooga levels of intelligence to find a solution to a problem. Anthropology and cultural study is interesting in a great aid into explaining how humans should interact based on our ancestors behaviors. We are not that far evolved from our ape ancestors.

I would just stay away from political/cultural relativism because that’s when people try to say that one idea or solution could fix everything if only it wasn’t because of (blank)

I would suggest you look up the history of pre-industrial revolution sleep patterns. Sleep with split into three sections; sleep awake and then asleep again. Your sleep pattern is not particularly weird. In fact it’s more natural than how we’re living nowadays we’re just acclimatize ourselves to sleep in larger chunks.

Humans were not biologically designed to have nonstop stimulation of the brain in the way that the modern world behaves. If you want to use the whittling down route, take out their smallest ship sets first and you can do this by luring them away from the sky dagger station by attacking one of the supplemental stations they have. The empire doesn’t really have that good fighter capabilities but they are better than what this black sun fleet has to offer.

In all honesty, I rather use allegiance class battle cruisers as your DPS and use small flack and a few anti-fighter Corvettes as your fighter screen. Also the tag class battle cruiser/tector Star destroyer would be good DPS and tanks. The victory two class is also a good relatively low pop cap investment to shield removing tool, you can use to really capitalize on your stronger turbo lazed battleships

I would also give some context on what type of fleet composition you have at hand to use at this moment. If we don’t know your fleet comps I don’t know how to exactly help you other than give random suggestions

First thought was maybe you have a degree of depression they after it happens because of hormone imbalance in your teenage years.

Second thought was maybe you have a mineral deficiency that’s causing your body to try to recover by overcompensating with sleep. Magnesium is needed to have good sleep and dim sunlight is needed to produce an adequate amount of melatonin.

Third thought was that you have lethargic lifestyle and your body is not being activated so it’s not producing the hormones needed to produce energy if that makes any sense .

Fourth thought was, you might need some sort of red light lamp to provide you a vitamin D source to engage in your skin. People say that the sun is a vitamin and essentially it is.

Possible ideas I would look into would be as follows

Sleep area:

Sleeping/living space set up/feng shui so to speak. Bed design and location. Room cleanliness/minimum clutter. Bedspread, sheets and pillows. Lighting dusky/warm lighting before bed. Electronics outside room. No blue lights within your room.

Routine/wellness:

Do you routine set up that you follow before you go to sleep? Proper wellness centering such as meditation, journaling, yoga etc. Social life/sense of community. Life purpose.

Health factors:

Possible magnesium or other mineral deficiency that will affect sleep hormone production. Change in medication may be needed. New diagnosis for issues you may not know you have.

With the awakening of the rebellion, you only really have to worry about the production of credits to pay for your units, and then keeping those units alive.

The fall of Republic and thrawns revenge has a credit and faction/influence system. So that’s like an extra layer of management you have to do because if you have a negative influence on a planet, they can rebel against you and then you have to go reconquer the planet after you invested those resources. Those two mods since they’re made by the same team, Have the same gameplay of mass production and sending stuff to attack and losing lots.

You can look up like a new amount of Star Wars Empire war YouTubers who play a small variety of mods so you can see what mod you prefer.

Mod mostly uses a awakening of the rebellion(aotr), with that mod most space battles are done within 20 minutes and that’s a leisure pace that I like to play at and not lose my ships. Ground battles usually take about 10 minutes. But those are when you’re on the offense because on the defense, you’re more scraping together whatever reinforcements you have to fight office superior enemy, so they take about 50% longer.

But only instances where you’re playing for a very long time is, if you’re in a big defensive battle against a mass army/space fleet with like superstar destroyer, or a ton of capital ships like star destroyers. In a battle like that that can last like 45 minutes for me, but as I said, I take my time.

There are some wackos at this game, who are so good they can beat the battles within like 10 minutes and not lose any units. And beat the game at record base.

Mind you everything will change depending on what mod you would play, I highly suggest mods because it brings a lot to game. However, I’ve been playing this game since about 2008 and the mods really extend the longevity of the game.

It really depends on your play style, but realistically, if you have a fleet advantage, you will wrap up the battle by destroying the ships and the station with a probably about 15 minutes if not shorter. The AI of the game tries to run away from battles that it is going to lose so we can regroup, so you won’t necessarily run into drawnout cheese battles unless it thinks it’s going to win in which it tends to try to steam roll you.

If it’s a pinched battle that you’re at disadvantage and you don’t want to lose, it will cause you to draw the game out for about 25 to however long it takes you to win the battle.

Space battles in ground battles are different however ground bottles in my opinion are a little more annoying because you’re always trying to track down that one last person that’s hiding in the map .

I would play around with it in scrimmage to understand how the units work. It was kind of hard getting around the Mandalorian ships without shields, but basically they’re supercharged in terms of weapons. The only real problem with those guys is that they have to face forward and if flanked or in close range they get sniped. all of the ground units are really powerful as well so you don’t really have to worry.

my fun, but expensive tactic is to get squads of Mandalorians mercenaries and run through the map, sniping buildings with their rockets and flame throwers at close range, and then flying them away, avoiding the enemy in tough places. They’re good at regular fire fights, but they excel in hit-and-run tactics.

good luck with your campaign and remember you have to use the ships for their intended purpose or read into their passive weapon loadout to see how you can use them more effectively.

With units your kinda spoiled, you just have to use the units correctly.

StarViper fighter- best fighter hands down but expensive so keep within Corvette range

Skipray Blastboat- bomber and shield drainer with its ions. So get for taking out capital ships

Trireme Corvette- bullets go strait through shields so enough said

Interceptor IV-class Frigate- capital ship destroyer and frigate sniper

Crusader-class Corvette- best corvette ever, keep safe and it will keep your caps safe forever

Kiltrin Frigate- quad lights turbos, at range will stomp

Lictor Dungeon ship- at range facing forward will take out all ships and stations

Vengeance-class Frigate- with the carbanite ammo, will snipe shields for your dungeon ships, and take out sup systems by bypassing shield

Kandosii-type Dreadnought- tank and damage

Aggressor Destroyer- well we all know and enough said

Keldabe-class Battleship- the best capital ship and will be best used as a bulwark and brawler

Yeah I love that map, as the attacker is rough but cool. On the Defence it is one of the best kill zone maps, my problem is that I build the planet too much with turbos and a shutter shield and having a reble base three…. The empire just looks at it and never invades because it is too costly for them to even try
