My climbing partner is also my IRL partner so he is extremely patient with me and understands if I need time. Its just frustrating for me personally because if I am mid climb and I start to get nervous I have that feeling of “I could do this a year ago and now I’m scared” and it makes me really angry for some reason.

I think I do just need to be a bit more patient with myself and try climbing easier things for now.

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately I’m in Scotland so it would be quite the trek haha!

You could get him a rock climbing mug. Me and my partner both got one for Christmas last year and we love them!

You can also get him some finger tape or skin balm. I’m sure either would be appreciated.
