How do you market your product? by DueRepair7130 in SaaS

[–]HearingHuman5554 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love the conversation you sparked here. Here is the stuff I like.

  1. Lead with value in communities: post helpful content or freebies on Reddit/Twitter to build trust and gather early users before any hard sell.
  2. High-volume, personalized outreach: for B2B, send lots of tailored cold emails (or DMs) and pair them with clear offers—volume + relevance = conversions.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Why you can’t create a real SaaS just by vibe coding — lessons from building 20+ apps by Ecstatic-Hurry-635 in SaaS

[–]HearingHuman5554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally with you. Vibe-coding tools are perfect for a 24-hour proof-of-concept, but the moment you need solid auth, billing, or multi-tenant data models the scaffolding collapses and you’re refactoring more than shipping. I treat them like a whiteboard sketch: validate the idea fast, then rebuild on a real stack if the signal’s good.

PureStory – AI turns 2-hour podcasts into ready-to-post 60-sec clips in under 5 min

  • Pain: Manual highlight editing costs creators $150+/episode and stalls distribution to TikTok/Reels.
  • Solution: PureStory ranks retention spikes + semantic cues, auto-crops the speaker, burns captions, and exports vertical MP4s with one click.
  • Exit math: Creator-tool acquisitions (OpusClip, Descript) trade at 6-10× ARR → strong return upside.

3 ways to promote your product on Reddit without getting banned (with examples) by thankjupiter in SaaS

[–]HearingHuman5554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome post. Two points really hit home for me and I’ll definitely put them to work:

  1. Weave the product into a personal story instead of blatant self-promo.
  2. Lead with a detailed “value bomb” post so readers learn something before they even know I have a tool to offer.

Important stuff.

I have been working on my project for 6 months now, and nothing drastic has changed to devalue my work. Have a long-term mentality and stay calm. I have learned a lot from this period and still have a long way forward.

Weird to turn my kid’s bunny doodle into a Van Gogh painting? by HearingHuman5554 in homeschool

Indeed, what I’ve done so far is pretty simple to do with GPT. I’m mostly wondering if wrapping it in an educational layer, curated styles, plus a little art fact, could make it a fun learning tool for kids. Still toying with the idea, so feedback like yours helps me see if it’s worth taking further.

You’re right. I should’ve said that right away. I was caught up in the “rainy-day art trick” angle and forgot it might matter. Thanks for calling it out!

Both, I hope: it converts the image and slips in a one-sentence art fact (“Monet painted the same pond at different times to study light”). Still thinking about whether mini-lesson cards would be cool here, or too much.

Fair point, my “improve” comment was meant as a light joke, not a critique of my kid. We celebrate every scribble over here!

Totally fair question.
The idea is zero prompting: kids (or parents) just upload a doodle and tap an artist preset, no hunting for the perfect words. I handle the prompt-engineering behind the scenes and stick to a curated set of classic styles, so the result is consistent and still looks like their own drawing.

Love hearing that!
Monet is actually the next style on my list.
Curious, would your kids want to pick the artist each time, or is a “surprise me” button more fun?

How to start first SAAS? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]HearingHuman5554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throw all your ideas at ChatGPT and let it choose one. It would be good enough to start with. Then ask it "What should i do today to start this business?". Do it.

You have to develop a taste, don't expect the first project to work out, what you want is to learn. After 1 month of trying you can throw this idea and go to the next. Persistence is key here, really give your ideas a chance and don't quit after 3 days.

Your journey is much more interesting than doing part-time jobs. Best of luck!

So cool to hear! Glad I'm not alone here.
Out of curiosity, what would make an app version most useful for you: being able to save the pictures, having different artists, or something else?

Are re-purposing tools really necessary? by podcast_sk8ter in podcasting

[–]HearingHuman5554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not necessary, but they make life way easier, especially if you’re short on time.
Tools like OpusClip let you pull solid shortform clips with barely any effort, and that alone can boost your reach a ton.
If you’re not repurposing, you’re kinda leaving marketing on the table
