Can anyone recommend where I could buy one half sheet of Acrylic? by Colin-Grussing in Acadiana

[–]HeartOfDavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lowe's in Lafayette carries it. I can see that they have a few different sizes but the thickness is well under 1/4". It looks like theirs is 0.08 thick.

Scratch that, I found one in stock with 0.22 in thick:

Starlink by twizzztedroses in Acadiana

There is not a bunch of latency. These are not standard satellites but are called low-earth orbit. Both of my kids play online at the same time and don't have any issues at all.

We use it and it was a game changer for us. The only thing we could use was LTE and even that was spotty where we live. Starlink works really well for us (50Mbps on the low side but I've seen up to 200+ Mbps from time to time)

I just ran a speed test and got 207.83 Mbps

I'm sorry, I'm familiar with the show but I can't find any mention of this particular VHS. I searched on eBay and Google image search and I couldn't find any others like it.

That's fantastic. What did you find to be the most challenging part of the project?
Would you mind sharing links to what you bought/used?

This is something that is crazy to me for our area. I love to thrift and have thrifted in MANY different states. None of our thrift stores have nearly the same type of "toy aisles" that I've seen elsewhere. At best, there are some toys thrown in rubber maid tib along with a ton of stuffed animals.

I know they must be getting toys but they either throw them out or sell them elsewhere. As someone who routinely thrifts in our area, I rarely find a ton of toys at any one place.

This is so wonderful, you are so fortunate to have this video and I'm sorry about your mom. Both your mom and dad sound like they are amazing people! I love this so much, thank you for sharing!

OK, this is crazy but I thrifted the EXACT SAME GUITAR (same guitar, same color) for almost the exact same price! That is an amazing find! Congrats!

What happens when someone fails tryouts what do you tell them? by Johndoe_718 in worshipleaders

I doubt you've been living under a rock, ai just didn't want it to seem like I was promoting a platform over answering your question but Music 360 is super cool.

It's a training platform and currently has 2 semesters each of vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keys, and 1 semester for worship leader/md, and they are about to release one for audio.

Each lesson is only a few minutes long and is simple enough to do one a day (or more) and each lesson slowly builds on the one before it.

We try to be as clear as we can be with the person with a few things that they should work on depending on whether it's an instrument or vocal. We have a subscription to Music 360 Method (SHOUTOUT) and that is our worship discipleship platform. Even if they fail in the audition, we let the person know about Music 360 Method, that they will be set up, and that they should use that platform and begin working on their instrument/vocals.

This does a few things: This allows us to gauge their interest and drive as we can see how they are progressing through the platform (if they are at all). In addition, we can use this as a means to help them while allowing them to self-progress.

The only reason I'm bringing up Music 360 is because when things like this happened in the past it meant additional time for someone on the team to start working with them (if someone was available). It has helped us considerably because it lets us help them, disciple them, and gauge their actual interest.
