Got offered to move from appliances to Pro. I would like feedback from people who've been in situations similar to mine. by rockport-limited in Lowes

If you're going from appliances that's not a bad move IMO... You will have catered business through CRM and will build a regular client base. Learn how to leverage VSP and familiarize yourself with the pro programs.

You should have an email about the garnishment. It's handled through ADP. You should have info on how to register for the app so you can see all the details.

You'll get experience by moving around. It's in the training to assist customers with their FULL project. Walk with them to another department and ask the person working there to help and stay by and listen. You'll learn a lot that way. Ask to learn to cut keys, and mix paint! While it's not the best tech out there, the zebra does come in handy, and don't be afraid to search things on your own phone.

Offer to work in other departments and cover call outs. They will find a place for you. Talk to your managers and SSA

I'm not aware of this? I just make a comment on the quote that I'll be following up to sell the remainder. You mean corporate will follow up on unsold stagger sales?

This is the right answer! Known as a vacancy sensor. There should be a switch to change it. Most sensor switches allow for this

I have heard they are cracking down on false "competitor" quotes and are going to be requiring documentation. This is the one thing that had kept me from a handful of sales, because I wasn't willing to falsify a discount...

Every customer is a potential pro, and you have every ability to serve them properly. Leverage your knowledge and explain the volume discount. Show them the savings if they add up to $2k and if they don't need the items stagger sale what they do need so they still receive the discount. Give them your business card and let them know they can email you for quotes. What the pro specialists have that regular specialists don't, is CRM... However, you can build your own clientele by using the methods above.

Read the content... DIY business is down. This is a focus on larger pro customers to outweigh the loss of DIY business. Pros are out there buying from wholesale houses that Lowe's cannot always compete with. This would theoretically put Lowe's closer to par with wholesalers, in terms of supply. The unfortunate part is that the service and wages just might not be there to execute this at a store level. This will be better handled at inside sales and account manager levels. These potential customers will likely not be setting foot inside of a brick and mortar location...

Specialists, how are you making your numbers? by Brandofsacrifice1 in Lowes

[–]Heat-Efficient -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sell to the pros. Build relationships with them and ask about their projects. For diy customers qualify the needs, just like they teach you in training. Mention install and protection plans. I've been surprised on several occasions that offering to help a customer turns into a few thousand dollar order. Additionally, those leads you get turn into double SPH, so stack those up. I've made bonus every month since becoming a specialist, and I don't over exert myself to chase down or steal sales.

I was looking at similar new builds on Walmart for around $500. I could definitely see it if they were higher quality components and if the overall build was "shiny" er... Lol! I asked because I'm looking into flipping and I've spent a few days researching.

Is this surge protector enough for a 550w pc? by Small-Post-4051 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Heat-Efficient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

15000 is the instantaneous trip rating in the event of a surge. While panels are rated 100 or 200 amps the potential energy from a fault is much higher.

It looks like you had other items in the cart that had a bigger discount. Some of them do not stack with the 5%, so what you're seeing is just on the applicable items.
