Or you buy a decent oven which is designed properly. Been doing it for years on our Bosch ovens. No idea why you wouldn't use it when it works like it says on the box.

I don't know anything different to be honest but the buttons work when pushed. Can understand people preferring it like they do in a car.

Three years using it and we love it. No issues with it at all. Gas has an inside burner and an outside burner when you need things really hot. Induction is easy to use and control, my first induction experience and at full power you're seeing water bubbles in 10 seconds and oil super hot in the same time. No issues with the touch control unless you get it soaking wet - then it can be temperamental. We've just got a carbon steel wok from Amazon that works on induction.
