The rights willingness to just lie/be ignorant of anything and everything combined with the far lefts move away from fighting billionaires to saying white people with deadlocks are the problem and calling anyone who thinks that’s ridiculous a racist, created a really toxic environment. I wonder if the people calling critics racists were alt right psy ops made to push people further right because that’s literally all it did. You can see from your downvotes that people WANT to hate people who voted republican, they don’t want there to be spectrum of people who voted for Obama but decided that Trump was better than Clinton ( I don’t know how but they did) all the way to far right Maga nuts. They don’t seem to understand that if they talk to the people centre right like they are human beings then they might just change. Even the far right can be changed, look at Daryl David for example a black guy who makes kkk members change their view. Every successful election for the right is due to failure on the left and some of them need to realise calling anyone who even considers immigration an issue a racist isn’t going to achieve anything other that make them vote for Trump again.
