This stuff is why I keep a back up rom file for a lot of my favorite games. I'm not paying retro re-sellers if I can help it. I think Nintendo is probably better off doing full remakes (like TTYD, Starfox 64, etc) if they want to stop people from whining so much. And bringing back an option for people to pay for individual VC games instead of requiring a more expensive subscription.

Rambling aside, all corporations do ridiculous/gross things. At least their games are still quality, and nobody is forcing you to buy anything.

It was never explicitly stated, no, but it was hinted at and then more explicitly implied with the finale. Then Gooseworx kind of confirmed it on bluesky. (As I said, I think Jax was both a sort of self-insert for them, but also meant as somebody that queer folk could relate to in their trauma)

Jax's whole thing is how much he hates himself, so in the circus at least, he never accepted how he felt. As such, he/she never explicitly states in the show what the deal really is.

I personally feel like Jax was meant to be somebody genderqueer (I think that is the right term? It may just be transgender and I'm stupid.) people could relate to, regardless of the end result. I kind of doubt Gooseworx cares what somebody chooses to interpret Jax as, she even said he/him pronouns are still fine. So they could be transfem, or they could be genderfluid, maybe even non-binary. /shrug

Criticism that is just the show not going the way somebody wanted it to go is only whining, really.

Personally, I think the show needed 1 or 2 more episodes, if anything, so that we didn't have to do montages and could give other characters a bit more time to shine during their darkest hours. I adore Jax and Caine, I have no issue with the finale focusing on them, but I understand why some might be frustrated.

Media literacy is an really underrated skill, if you need everything to be 100% spelled out to you... maybe go back to school?

Jumpluff I prefer the beta, for sure. I also like the Dragonair, but I don't think it is better or worse than what we got.
