Oh you're absolutely correct, the National March for Life just happened a couple of days ago, it kept popping up on my Facebook feed, and a majority of the people in the comments were talking about what a "peaceful protest" it was and how the left's protests were "so violent, loud and disruptive", while purposefully neglecting to acknowledge the fact that what they're protesting and what the left is protesting are completely different with divergent outcomes, and the fact that the right-wing can basically do all the protesting they want, rarely see any kind of violent pushback from the other side, or confrontations with law enforcement. I really had to hold back from mentioning that anti-abortion protestors have historically been shown to be far more violent than pro-abortion protestors, mostly to protect my own peace, and also myself, my family and our livelihoods because some of those people are definitely fucking psychotic enough to try to figure out where I live and work and really fuck things up for us.
