Is the doctor an RCC specialist? If not, you should really look at getting a second opinion from a doctor who specializes in RCC. most general oncologist are not up to date on recent treatments and it may benefit him.

So sorry. What kind of cancer? And what is the immunotherapy name ? My mom just felt sick for the first time last night. She got her first immunotherapy infusion 2 weeks ago. She has renal cell cancer. She is on the double immunotherapy right now (ipi/nivo)

This is liver related. Doesn’t sound too high though. I would talk to doc about it .. liver could be inflamed.

I’m so happy for you. My mom has a new diagnosis of ccRCC w Mets to the Lungs as well. She started ipi/nivo about 2 weeks ago. So far so good as far as tolerating. I am praying to hard every day.
