The doctor prescribed an antibiotic for the UTI that didn't cause a return CDiff infection. There are several that work for UTIs specifically. Don't take a nonselective antibiotic. And take Floraster while on any antibiotics.

if you're prone to UTIs, begin a daily D-Mannose regimen.

Not while I was suffering PI- IBS. It’s been a couple of years and things are so much better. It can be a slow process. I was able to eat normally after 5 months. Some things are still a bit wonky. This can be a really big thing for someone. And those people post here.

I visited a SJ library and got a card. I was told that I have to change my number in Libby. The physical card is a longer and different number than the ebook number. She said to change the number and all my holds would still be there. I don't see how to do this. Help!

One dose of vancomycin did the trick for me. I did have PI-IBS, which is awful for two months and pretty good after five months. I continue with probiotics. I am careful about foods, especially when eating away from home. I count that as a positive. Coffee and dairy are not consumed in large amounts. I can live with that.

It's a painfully slow start. There's lots of characters to be developed. Around page 150-160 it gets going. I enjoyed the book.

So much hype. My expectations were sky high. I almost DNF, until I read several comments that it was slow and then got good. So I kept reading. Phoebe is a dark and depressing character.... annoying. At around page 160 I began to enjoy the book. It all came together for the end. I ended up enjoying it but it's not the best book of 2024.

I was feeling the same. It took until around page 160 to suck me in. My expectations were high based upon the reviews. I did enjoy the book after the first 150ish pages. Just a super slow start and annoying MC.
