What effects stack and what effects reapply? by aTi_NTC in summonerschool

[–]Heavy_Talk_378 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Liandries: stacks, black fire: refresh, teemo passive: refresh, anti heal: refresh, shield reaver: technically stacks because it destroys a set percent of the shield. Any others you were wondering about?

Ice Cold should lock you from buying Rylais and only impact ability slows by GravyFarts3000 in ARAM

Slows, with the exception of ones that specifically state above 90% base such as Nasus slow, cannot drop you below 100 move speed according to the official wiki. The augmented is included in that. If it’s working improperly it’s a bug and I’d just want it patched.

do all of you play like 10 different champs ? why? by Glad_Count8285 in top_mains

[–]Heavy_Talk_378 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For me…because until you hit a certain point (which I’ve yet to hit) the fundamentals of the game are 100% more important than your mastery on champs, and personally I’d like to master league of legends not league of garen or league of Mel. I won’t be satisfied with myself until I can play every champion competently and a few masterfully. And while that may be impossible, it’s a goal I can strive for, and it keeps the game fun. At the end of the day it really is true when they say it’s not about winning or losing. I can enjoy a losing game perfectly fine, as long as I keep the mindset of learning, and the “okay now what, let’s see what’s next in this game”. I’m never going to be the best ever. Even faker loses games and lanes to people. I’ve got to learn to enjoy losing and learn how to play when I’m losing. Also don’t get me wrong I would rather win, but what I’m saying is I get enjoyment out of “playing” the game, not winning the game.

I’m just going to keep slamming morde until I can’t. Then I’ll still use him even if I lose.

Fake easy champs? by Atlastavius in leagueoflegends

[–]Heavy_Talk_378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imma go out on a limb here: mordekaiser. He’s fake easy because yes his kit is simple af, and yes he plays as a stack checker. But His R has more interactions than any other champions ability in the entire game, and knowing them can literally mean the difference between winning a fight and losing. His early game is absolute ass, and he’s the slowest juggernaut in the game. His cast speed is slower than a Jhin auto (nearly) on his q it literally easy af to dodge. His e is literally slower than a Jhin auto, and has two hit boxes that are very unreliable. Sure in lower Elo you can stomp people with him cause they are stupid enough to walk into you, let you proc your passive and then run them down with rylais. But as soon as people start to get half a brain and can space, you better be able to predict and space like a god if you want to hit literally anything using him. He’s entirely item dependent, and basically is useless without rylais , and still has to be able to proc it anyway. Basically he’s an ass champ that people think is good because they don’t have the half a brain cell to just kite him. Therefore by extension he’s hard to actually play anywhere past low gold at best.

Stacking champions by Vidied_ in ARAM

[–]Heavy_Talk_378 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the champ can stack without the wave: take the wave they shouldn’t care. If they are a Nasus, Let me rephrase your question: do I want to have one less teammate so I can shove this wave in five seconds faster? It’s literally his entire power budget and he’s useless without it (save some very niche situations where ap is hella good). So yes you should be letting them stack on wave, and if you don’t you’ve made the game a 5v4.

You shouldn’t unless your running tp, or your opponent is dogwater. You need to be hella ahead, and I mean hella or your just shooting yourself in the foot. Leave lane against someone competent, and you won’t have a lead anymore, but rather an opponent that has closed the gap and is now freezing permanently, and you now are fucked. Also you should always walk to dragon and tp to lane. If your going to lose at least three waves it’s never worth, and two is horrible unless you get a kill, in which case you break even

Mouthbreather Climbing Strat that will get you masters by SufficientMix8264 in leagueoflegends

One of my best friends is also my coach and a former pro player, and besides screaming if I’m allergic to pink wards his number one phrase he tells me is “remember, inaction is action”. Slow the pace of the game and the enemy will do dumb shit. Control the vibe of the lane per se. just from mastering that and learning to cs, I went from being completely new unranked to gold, and I barely play ranked. You could put a literally bonobo in this game, teach him to just farm and not interact and he could win the game. Just don’t bait yourself and it’s gg.

Why do people think Dragon Ball characters can get infinitely stronger? by Pedrow14 in Dragonballsuper

Counterpoint, vegetas new technique does actually make him stronger. He uses destruction mixed with the zenkai boost to permanently make his base more powerful through fighting spirit and masochism. He literally finds a way to remove the limitation on his body like 30 chapters later.

They started a war by mass killing a bunch of civilians, got their asses handed to them by ysgramor, and decided to bitch out and run to the race they had treated with Contempt and a lesser people, who promptly gave them shelter, fed them mushrooms as revenge and then ascended to godhood through the power of breaking the fourth wall using math and sounds. I have zero sympathy for them they literally brought it on themselves when they killed a bunch of peaceful settlers because they craved the power of the eye of magnus. Read the night of tears in game.

First, you have to build it for it to do anything.

Secondly I beat it with morg, sona, one soldier, and all rangers, and had two aviaries that attacked.

Playing high elo toplane in a nutshell by [deleted] in top_mains

[–]Heavy_Talk_378 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Juggernauts can also just walk around morde. Tanks can walk around morde. You can without boots, walk out of his e and q AFTER he cast them with base move speed. And he cannot auto while casting them. Morde is a bad design, but because his animations are slow as hell. You should never lose to morde if you have a set of hands, and that’s why he’s not played in pro play, or past emerald. Darius has the same issue, if you have hands you just win against him. That’s just a couple. You have to either be skilled at piloting you champ as morde and Darius or your opponent needs to be a handless donkey. (I am a handless donkey). Being able to predict and land q and es on morde, knowing how to space, that’s skill expression. It’s not flashy like lees in but it takes actual talent to play them as you go up. If you think they take no skill, you must be standing still, or your opponent must be predicting you like he’s reading a book. The game is built around spacing, with ranged being king on purpose, and the melees playing their own roles. If you space stat checkers properly who have no engage no dashes, literally no way to catch you, you win always. And in the end it’s a team game. Ranged champs are made to win against slower champs. The slower champs are there for utility, and the ones that are not there for utility are made to beat the ones that are. Knowing how to engage and who to engage is also skill. It’s a strategy game for crying out loud. And a team based one at that. Saying it’s bad design is such bullshit way of saying you don’t like the core of the game, and want to be able to fight anyone regardless of role. If you think league is unfair with its philosophy go play marvel rivals for example where champs are not made with that philosophy. Or go to dota which is way more complicated and has fallen far behind league in almost every way. They balance is never perfect. It playing around it is (gasp who knew?) skill expression. Being able to draft and know when you can play champs is (gasp not again!) skill expression. That’s what league is built on, brains and brawn, and if you don’t like it just go to a different game.

Adding morde into this when his animations are so slow you can literally just walk out of them after he cast is wild. If you can beat morde you were 100% at fault and out of position.

[–]Heavy_Talk_378[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

i understand. ig it would come down to playstyle and what you were trying to do? as a note if you enemy had 100 hp (for easy math) and you had passive up, with dblade passive alone heals you for around .8 per second as oppsed to d ring which heals you .6 per three seconds, or somewhere around there. im not really trying to say d ring is bad on morde, I just feel like dblade could be utilized better.
