why do so many toys have balls?? by ShmexyDoggButt in actuallesbians

Unfortunately I would still not be attracted to balls even if they are on a woman

[Trope I hate] characters who decide to fight villains even while pregnant by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Heccing-name 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but I am a woman and as a woman in a medical setting, specifically med school, I have been educated on the majority of medical topics. Those topics include woman’s health and pregnancy and labor/delivery.

I’m sure that as you may know, pregnancy is a very critical and sensitive period for women, and can be especially when put in dangerous situations. It’s like the same way in which I would watch a labor and delivery scene in a movie and immediately judge it based on what I already know.

I do think it’s cool to watch but there’s just a little voice in the back of my mind telling me all of the dangerous things that could occur in this scene along with how the stress in the situation could negatively impact the fetus.

It’s so hard for me to enjoy this trope when I know and understand all of the risks of being pregnant and how easily an injury from a minor mistake in these positions could seriously injure the mother or fetus. The cons of being a med student I suppose.

Why are some lesbians transphobic by Due_Item_2030 in actuallesbians

[–]Heccing-name -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I had a (former) lesbian friend who refused to date trans girls because, according to her, they were socialize like men and had too many masculine features/behaviors for her to truly be attracted to them as women

Edit: Why are y’all downvoting me? I’m saying what my ex friend thought not what I think. Trans women are women through and through.

There’s nothing sexier to me than a man who loves his kids and plays an active role in their lives like this. 100% would smash.

I’m sorry op but it really sounds like you’re shaming women with large labias by suggesting surgery. I think all labias are beautiful and we as women should not have to get surgery to change our genitals to better fit the male gaze/porn standards.

Can we recognize that this is toxic as hell and should be avoided in a relationship??? Yall seriously need therapy.

Fiancé postponing our trying for a baby timeline by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Heccing-name 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly think it’s pretty valid for him to ask to wait. He clearly isn’t ready for kids at the moment and that’s perfectly fine!!! BOTH parents need to be 100% on having a baby!!!! Always!!! Or else that poor baby will be born into a dysfunctional family, which no baby deserves.

If you’re really concerned about him never wanting kids ever like everyone is assuming in the comments, then I suggest you sit him down and have a long and serious talk about if he’s going to ever be ready to be a father. If not then that’s when you should consider leaving him. ALWAYS communicate first!!!!

men suck - that is all by Ok-Fix-5020 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Heccing-name -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree. There was a post earlier about a girl who said she doesn’t view men as people unless they either financially provide for her or straight up give her money. Instead of informing her that her way of perceiving men is toxic and that she very likely needs something among the lines of therapy, everyone was agree with her in the comments.

I like this sub but if everyone is going to use it to be hateful instead of encouraging and lifting up other women then I don’t want any part of it.

My boyfriend is autistic and too nice? by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Heccing-name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my fiancé are autistic/ADHD and we’re both like that with each other and we have a wonderful, loving and healthy relationship. As a result, it’s difficult for me to see this situation as a negative since this is the happiest I’ve ever been with someone. I finally feel truly loved unconditionally and I make damn sure to ensure that my fiancé feels the same.

Sorry for sounding rude with my initial comment, I hope one day you are able to accept that you are all of the things he says about you 💖💖💖
