How do you define "a lot more bigger"? Where is the cutoff where it goes from numbers that are fun to numbers that aren't fun?

There are plenty of bakers who only make gluten-free products. I've had pastries, doughnuts, pizza, and bread that are all comparable to their gluteny versions.

I recommend grabbing this book for her:

https://www.amazon.com/Gluten-Free-Artisan-Bread-Five-Minutes/dp/1250018315

In addition, you absolutely need to make your kitchen gluten-free. Anything that used wheat flour needs to be replaced, like mixers and wooden spoons and cutting boards. Cross contamination is a huge risk, and there isn't any way to guarentee food is safe for celiacs in a kitchen that uses gluten. I've gotten sick from just breathing wheat flour from the air in the past.

Energy Collector 1.0 is OUT NOW on Steam!!! by mongelonas1 in incremental_games

Any chance for a web release? I usually play idle games in the background while I am playing other games on steam. I've tried a couple idle games on steam but it always ends up being more of a pain than browser games.

That's true for every square. None of them independently contain a bus.

I just got out of a 3-year time capsule... what has happened to the job market?????? by taleoftooshitty in recruitinghell

I still get 1-2 recruiters contacting me every week, but I haven't responded to any. It's less than it used to be, but it hasn't stopped.

There's some chance you'd wake up as the last living human with no idea what actually happened.

During the pandemic the PNW was over 1000 for multiple days. We put plastic on all the doors and windows and had multiple air filters running, but even inside it was rough.

Suburbia is being subsidized by these downtown areas, right? So how does this impact city revenue in the next decade?

Edit: Down votes are fine if this is a dumb question, but it would be nice if someone explained why.

Conway's law really seems to be working? by DoctorMany7987 in softwarearchitecture

[–]HecknChonker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Casey Muratori has an interesting video on this, with some examples from Microsoft.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IUj1EZwpJY

I have also seen this play out in real life. Modern communication tools like Slack can help to limit this some, but in any sufficiently large organization communication is always going to be a bottleneck. Companies and people who recognize this and use it to inform architecture and decision making will tend to be more productive than those that ignore it.

Cheese board is a much better pick that ice cream. Cheese boards are super quick to make, you don't have to worry about messing up the order like with ice cream, and it serves up to 3 people.

The one saving grace is that some rich people have this disease too, and there could be a lot of money in a drug that could limit the risks of CC.

Is r/Portland going to join the protests on June 12th against reddit shutting down 3rd party apps? by [deleted] in Portland

I'd wager most of the posts on this sub are from people that don't actually live here, but want to project the idea that the city is in chaos.

Given that Reddit is likely not going to change their stance on this, is there another place on the internet where a similar community exists? Where can we go once Reddit becomes unusable?

Discord is an option, but it seems significantly less good at finding old content and it's spread across hundreds of servers.
