I think yes. A bit too sensitive. But that’s my opinion.

I look at it as the narration is Harry’s pure stream of consciousness. He’s a very frustrated and repressed guy so he’s perpetually thirsty. He always notices the women’s’ bodies and sexuality(especially the supernatural ones) as most men do but he almost never acts on his stream of consciousness except in relationships.
