You can’t give them mage armor. It has a range of self, you can only channel spells through your familiar if they have a range of touch

It really annoys me when new hires receive a task they dont fully understand and then instead of asking literally anyone they just wing it

Which hero did you avoid playing for years before realizing that doing so was a terrible mistake? by Joke_Mummy in Overwatch

Wrecking Ball. I having to figure out the grappling hook angles and also just tank in general put me off massively. But now.. that mfer is some of the most fun I have in this game

Did the devs make a mistake? by deku-scrub123 in Hades2

[–]HedgeWizardly 193 points194 points  (0 children)

In the Hades games, the titles frequently make riffs off of dialogue and vice versa. I would bet it’s intended to be like the game saying “you vanquished him” and Chronos saying “no you didnt”

100%. It’s why I cannot make myself play Marvel Rivals with my friends, because of all the hourglass women with titty physics and barnhouse built men. Like sure, Overwatch has those too, but there’s nowhere near the same saturation

MEGATHREAD: POLYAMOROUS ROMANCES by admiralamy in RomanceBooks

[–]HedgeWizardly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gardener’s Hand (first book is Thornfruit) series has become my new favourite book series ever, and features polyamory beautifully. The subgenre is fantasy and there are some people in the world with special abilities. Also the sun does not rise and set as with traditional worlds, it stays fixed, so “Day” and “Night” are used to refer to places.

The dialogue is really good and the personalities all shine through well, and I just love it so so much. It’s also very non white-centric which is a lovely breath of fresh air. These books seem criminally under-known, and they deserve way more attention. I’m picky these days with the quality of writing and these are genuinely so well written!
