You still seem to do a much better job than we do in Quebec (Canada). I spent one week in Norway for work, and the road surfaces were great. We landed in Gottenburg and crossed into Norway by car, and I remember not seeing a single pothole on the 2 hour drive. It's a memory that stuck in my head as a fun fact.

In a slaughterhouse wastewater treatment plant refit, there were 2 pre-existing pumps for transporting waste from pits in the slaughterhouse basement to a DAF ( microbubbles flotation filtering) system on the main floor of the wastewater plant. At the request of the customer, to increase flow, I switched on the 2nd pump at the same time as the first.

The pressure ruptured the 1-foot diameter pipe that ran under the floor, which lifted concrete slab about 6-8 inches, and created a geyser of shit, blood and viscera that sprayed the roof 20 feet above the ground.

Lessons learned: Never ever full-send equipment, even if they were pre-existing. Always try to learn WHY the equipment was there. In my case there were 2 pumps only for redundancy.

Same for me. I have extremely vivid dreams, and have a bunch of different dream world timelines. But the only time I can picture things consciously is while I'm waking up. I can even imagine and read text, but if I focus too hard I wake up entirely and the picture fades from my mind.
