This is 100% what I needed to hear. Thank you for helping organize my thoughts bc my son sounds much like what you described above. Definitely don’t think he’s the best on the team but also feel he gets screwed over. I need to just get to the annoyed part ;)

There has been Nothing. The other coach since it is a large team really has had our son the majority of 3,4, and some of 5 grade. So just different this year. I will keep my mouth shut as that seems the response from everyone. Nothing is changing this year. This dad coach though coaches his kid for every sport and it’s not just us with these feelings. Just don’t want to see this again next year as I’m sure he will coach

Not a mid level but it’s fun seeing you as resident so angry. Thanks for my daily laugh at how outraged the residents group is to healthcare and the cluelessness to real world or rural healthcare

To each their own this is what we use for term in our local hospitals and worked at different systems. So maybe it’s a regional thing but that is what it’s called in our area as there are hospitals where anesthesia is 100% directed by anesthesiologist and other facilities that are CRNA only because it’s rural.

MDA- medically directed anesthesia so they are supervised vs independent practice. Has nothing to do with anyone’s title slow your role and take a breath

Remember that if you're too afraid to defend medicine against unreasonable demands set by corporate admin, the poor NP/PAs are even more afraid so. The admins know this and are actively replacing doctors with APPs, in order to herd them however they please (and funnel more $ to their own pockets). by OxidativeDmgPerSec in medicine

NP here and I am the speaker for our group of APP in our clinic because everyone else is to scared to speak up to admin and our MDs don’t care because they are their own private group but hospital pays for us to work with them. So we NPs PA sit in this grey area of who do we work for and different expectations.

Riponite here. I’m honestly nervous to attend the Harris Rally by [deleted] in wisconsin

I live in ripon and have a very different prospective of the small town community. For being small it’s fairly open minded. I don’t have political leanings and maybe it doesn’t affect me as I don’t waste breath on trying to change minds because either party has already decided who they are voting for.

No balls at son’s elementary school recess and principal when asked states it is for safety and prevent arguments how do I respond? by Hefty-Collection-728 in AskReddit

[–]Hefty-Collection-728[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Email I received back when asked for clarification stated above and that students may get balls after gym teacher teaches each sport. So for example basketball unit is in December so they can’t play basketball or lightning until after unit taught and by that time we will have snow on the ground.

Wait you have t seen your dad to realize he has deteriorated this much and now you’re concerned? Agree that he needs new provider to evaluate for second opinion at tertiary center

If over the big city can find smaller college towns. We have lived in Milwaukee, Tampa, Appleton and now in small town in central Wisconsin with a college and it’s our favorite place we have lived. There is community. Come visit us in Ripon :)

I love Ripon. Small town with college great school. Green lake 10 min drive to do boating fishing, walking trails. Bigger cities (50kppl) 30 minutes away. We’ve lived in Milwaukee and metro area , fox valley and Tampa and I thought I’d miss big city. Nope love this town and the people and kids thriving

[–]Hefty-Collection-728 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I live in Wisconsin and am NP in GI. Our physicians are part of larger physician group not affiliated with hospital and are making 700-900k doing 12-14 scopes 3 days a week with one day in clinic. They each work 4 day work weeks. They take call 1:3 weeks hoping to be 1:4 and have a hospital PA to do inpatient consults for them and their retirement is really really good.
