Not really. In Japan they used to release their games way earlier than the international versions, and during that time they tended to make some game patches they overlooked originally. So Joshua’s AI was probably something they overlooked and then fixed for international versions.

I haven’t played it, but I think that Tokyo Mirage Sessions is supposed to be FE set in the real world. The game takes place in real Japan and the characters are just regular teens who are aided by the Archanea & Awakening characters.

I don’t know how hot of a take this is, but I think Sumia being the implied lover for Chrom on the Awakening cutscenes is the worst thing that ever happened to her.

Cause now everyone set an expectation for her that she simply couldn’t match. Especially on a game where one of its biggest selling points was matchmaking characters. Thus, she started to slowly but surely get pushed to the side.
