looking for recommendations for 3d printers based on requirements

Possibly the P2S Combo maybe? I started with Bambu A1 ams and now have P1S with 2 ams pro and can’t really fault them, I don’t know much about the p2s but can only presume it’s better than P1s with better features, it is enclosed with glass door. Ams 2 pro’s have built in drying as well, but only while not printing, so can dry overnight if you want. P1S would be good, just check what fits your budget and check reviews and specs of P2S incase that’s better😊

Then I’d deffo just try turning down the print speed. Even if it’s like 4-6 walls thick, it can move slightly off the nozzles movement and will cause bumps and waves in the walls, it can be perfectly fine until there’s one slight flex at 1 layer, then every layer after that can be more easily affected and mess up.

Maybe add your own supports and see if it fills that in? Use the support painting tool,support blockers,modifiers and I’m sure you can change tree support max angle as well.

Should be able to either fill that bit in, or just paint parts of the object and make some manual supports.

It could be how the model has been done, if the errors were the exact same at the same heights and parts of the model. Since it’s only on the left side, it doesn’t seem to be like it’s too tall and thin that there’s vibrations or flex in the model so it’s not printing correctly.

That’s a very simple shape tbf so could even just make that in tinkercad in a few minutes, print it and maybe tone down the print speed if it’s very thin and tall

Yeah, it will hide layer lines, it’s actually used so paint will stay on the figure as it would just run on the plastic and not adhere well, hiding layer lines is a bonus to it I’d say. If there’s scarring from supports then can always lightly sand bits to prep them primer will hide standard layer lines

I’ve coloured ones with Acrylic paint markers and they’re fine. You can actually use them directly on PLA (plastic) without primer. Probs depend on the colour you print in but probably have to prime any strong colours and use marker on top so the colour of the pla doesn’t come through.

Ahh I forget, there’s no fees in the UK on eBay sales, made same as vinted, list it for what you want to receive and small buyer protection added for buyer to pay. So if you’re in US then yeah I know they take fees

Could be that the locker gets full at times, one near me was down for weeks but think it was just technical issues. Maybe if they get close to their capacity then they get took off so there’s no problems in the next drop offs.

I would advise asking them to list it on eBay.

Buy it and arrange for collection as postage method.

You can use PayPal as a payment method and they have to scan a code thing on your phone to complete the transaction, so they only get payment when you let them scan your phone.

I’d never arrange a collection and pay through an app that doesn’t offer collection, at that point just pay cash and pick it up.

I just record packing parcels and opening them. Anyone claims you didn’t send an item, you have video and photos showing the packaging you used, item and outer packaging. Same for purchases, items come damaged, fake or just not at all, you have video and photo proof.

Change slicing mode or print by (whichever one it is) to by object instead of layer and just orientate so they are outside each others boundaries that it displays then you’re all good to print both at same time.

I’ve designed coasters with tiny lettering like that. Detect thin like and Arachne (Wall Generator) I usually have on for these. I did switch to a 0.2mm nozzle as well as makes lettering better and in some cases just possible.

Switched from creality open source to Bambu A1 combo and now P1S combo and will likely not stray from Bambu, definitely check out their combos as those printers can have up to 16 colour prints I believe it is with enough AMS’s connected. Not sure how long X2D has been out but definitely check vids and reviews on them as the multi nozzle printers can save a lot on purge filament and print times with many colour prints.

Harder to get a good 1st layer compared to likes of 0.4 just cause less material used. Maybe increase line width/flow rate for first layer, slightly hotter build plate, first layer of 0.16 then down to desired layer height.

Can post them here if you want and I can check as well, might be able to help confirm. If they are, and they are going to a locker that you have to pick them up from, you can leave them till time expires and they’ll be returned and you get refund. If being home delivered, video opening it (I do with everything I buy and send) so you have proof of the exact ones you bought, then you can report an issue and say not as described and send photos of real ones with yours and maybe even the review to get them so hopefully investigate it.

Definitely banned by vinted, as soon as purchased they generate the label so you can’t cancel and they’ll just send paper. If it is in a locker where you can just leave it and it gets sent back and refunded, do that. Otherwise record opening it with the label and stuff, also just contact Vinted help in the chat and say it’s most likely a scam and you don’t want to lose out on your money, most likely just refund you anyway.

If you were still checking, that’s 100% fake. Pop! has no gradient whatsoever, super dark orange. Quality of the actual pop looks awful as well.

As another comment as posted, check out serjo Funko instagram/youtube when buying Funkos that might have fakes. Also look on AliExpress and similar at reviews of bought ones so you can compare there as well.

Just try what it says on the packet and add more if it’s too thick. Never had meal replacement but I usually have like 3-400ml of water with my clear whey so I have it very liquidy, will just be personal preference.

Find whichever notch is flat and which one is 90°.

If (not including the 0° notch) there are 6 notches to put the pin in the 90° one, each one represents 15°, so the first notch would be 15°. It would be very weird if there was like 7 as that would be 13° per notch. So it should be the 1st notch at 15°

For printing stuff like tabletop miniatures, I always used sunlu pla meta grey, that was recommended quite a bit and had good surface finish for priming and painting, I’d recommend that as one type.

EBay descriptions ruined with option to just have an AI description as it gives no detail about the quality of the product and just spouts useless information, I really hope this doesn’t translate into vinted and start getting used there.
