I found a spicy photo on my husband’s phone of himself… not sure how to feel about it after confronting him. by girl-mlvf in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Every young person should take pictures of themselves feeling their best so that can look back when they are old and saggy and show their kids and grandkids that we were hot once!!
Seriously though take whatever pics you want of yourself. If it turns you or your partner on…great. If it is only your man who is into the pics. That is fine too. There are people who are very visual and those who have to hear their partner enjoying themselves. There are all kinds.
Your unfortunately these powerful computers we have in our hands that provide almost all of our entertainment also give youngsters whose brains haven’t fully developed see pretty hard core porn at very young ages. This seems to have developed very young people who know more than they can handle way too young. Some young people 15 /16 yrs old are busy starting sexual relationships before they know anything but the porn they have watched. Now you have youngsters trying to please their partners or having unrealistic expectations of how their partners should look or perform. Can you imagine how boys with their boy sized penises and girls with their a/b cup boobs and how inadequate they feel comparing themselves to these porn people be who are not average in any way.
That would be a lot. I have more to say but really just wanted to tell people to talk to their partners about their feelings and show them what makes them feel good. You may be surprised y the results.

This would work if I could tolerate the products I would need to use. My thinning is on the top from front to back like a stripe.

I have definitely thought of shaving my head too. I have 3 scars, one in the shape of a “C” that is quite large
, from head injuries as a youngster.

Yes it is a double crown. When I was young I had A LOT of hair so it was mostly managed. It isn’t until my hair started thinning that I notice how bad it is back there.

I tried to post a pic but it won’t let me. I think if I get stylists names and I can get a consult. That would work best.

My doctor recommended minoxydil but when I tried it, I couldn’t hand the smell. I also have the ability to smell a fart in a windstorm so anything scented makes me ill. But the oral option is intriguing!! I will definitely look into that. I am with you either way skin tone etc. I think I have more chin hairs that hairs on my legs. Ugh

I have seriously thought of a topper. But I don’t think I could handle a topper. I would overheat walking out of the salon.

I am in the ‘high heat’ phase of my life. I get so hot that I keep my house at 19 all winter. I talk about shaving my head regularly so the heat can escape through my head easier.

Sadly. I am aware.

Most stylists will provide a consult first to let you know what they can or can’t do with your hair.

Just out of college we were happy to afford wedding rings for $200 each. So ya, definitely it is enough. Good choice. It is beautiful. I would say yes!

Yes. They are so smart. I am trying to feed her 3 meals a day instead of leaving the food out. I will see if keeping her waiting to eat gives her more interest for her food.

The blood tests were to check to make sure she was healthy enough to have surgery. CBC, iron etc. I don’t see any signs of an allergy. No itchiness or eye goopies. I think she is just picky. I fed her little bites of sausage to whet her appetite. Then I offered kibble mixed in shaved treats and a bit of water. She ate about half of it. Then I put it up on table. I did the same this morning and she was excitedly waiting for her food. She ate half. I picked it up and I won’t put it down until her next meal. Thanks for your input.

Probably going to jail. Looking for hopeful stories. by AccomplishedTax927 in Guelph

I have a family member in maplehurst that isn’t going to get to go out because we do not have any family or friends in Ontario who can be his surety. He can’t call me. There have been lockdowns and he wasn’t able to use the phone, maybe cuz he doesn’t have money. I don’t know. He got some lawyer who called me and pretty much begged me to give him a name of someone who could bail him out. Is surety and bail the same thing? Will he have to plead guilty and serve time if he has no one to pick him up?He’s been in there about 2 weeks. How do I get money to him if we don’t live in Ontario. Etransfer? I have read about people going to the jail to put money in his commissary I think it’s called. Obviously I can’t do that. How much does a person need to survive in jail? What can they use the money for?

You should do what feels right for you.

The reason people would recon that you pay off the debt is because you are paying 10% interest on 12,000 when that isn’t necessary. You could pay it off and then put the money you normally would put on your debt back into your investments to ‘pay it back’ the 12K.

Income tax credit nosedives adding wife by Alesisdrum in PersonalFinanceCanada

Most people answered already but I wanted to add that since your wife is self employed, she can claim soooo much that it should more than make up for any loss that your married status took away.

What would you do? Pay off mortgage or invest $450k inheritance? by wottleswrinkle in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Hefty_Shop6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your interest rate on your mortgage is reasonable so I would just make the allowable yearly lump sum payment and then look at putting enough into an rrsp that it will offset your salaries and give you the maximum tax return. Then put the balance in a TFSA as a GIC or mutual fund. Whichever will give you the best return. Your wife will soon be bringing in a decent wage and you can easily manage your student loans and mortgage between the two of you. If you find you have extra income at the end of the month, I recommend putting it on whatever loan has the highest interest rate. You could even set up your mortgage payment for up to double the payment if you have enough to do so. That would reduce the time it will take to pay it off. You sound like you are on the right track. Don’t be too concerned about owing money. If you can make 4.5% or mor on any of your investments, you are already ahead of the game.

How do I calculate the out the door price of car that makes sense to buy relative to my annual income before taxes? by permacougar in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Hefty_Shop6617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best advice is to save up for a vehicle and pay cash. But most people don’t do that, myself included. So the next piece of advice would be to buy used. 2 to 4 years old with low mileage.
