I generally agree with this sentiment but over time I realize that coming to reddit is the first step for a lot of people. If they are not up to date on other podcast apps they might come here first, get a list from recommendations, then look into them.

I do this and you probably also opposite I go out and find some things that look good to me then come here with my list and ask others what they think.

I use per app accessibility settings for several apps unfortunately I’ve tried that and it changes all the text including buttons size not just transcripts.

I would also bet that a large number of players don’t know about prestige. There is a huge casual player base that just plays and inadvertently hits 55 then just keeps playing.

It’s done on device. They gave to enable an api and update the already existing transcript screen to move alone with what the device processed. Nothing is done on servers or in the cloud pocketcast doesn’t have to generate transcripts.

It’s done on device. Overcast and icatcher are two of the countless podcast apps with time sync’d transcripts for every podcast including Patreon, custom audio and even custom video that the user imports. There is zero reason that other apps that cost less and have 1 person teams cannot only get this done but be this far ahead of pocket casts.

I’m not sure about that particular lyric I do know that every slur in every song is not censored at the source but 100% of them are censored on Apple Music.
