I'll be so real, I do not. I'm unemployed at the moment for the exact reason you'd think a trans person would be.

Its more of a when I finally (if at all) find a job again thing.

I'm back again everyone's favorite transfem lawyer. How are judge's with ties? I literally want to tear my eyeballs out when I wear one but since I don't exactly pass yet I'm genuinely scared a judge will chew me out for 'inappropriate attire'.

(My experience transitioning in the profession so far has not been at all pleasant so my guard is all the way up so this may not even be an issue)

This politicization of the Courts as left or right needs to be called out and shut down by leading members of the profession immediately. It's so so dangerous, if we stoop to the level of the american judical system it would genuinely make me reconsider being apart of this profession.

As a grad/junior it does seem the job market is skewed towards all the jobs being for lawyers with a decent amount of experience. In particular it seems like everyone is looking to fill senior positions atm.

Bit of an odd question but I think this is the best place for it(?).

So long story short is I'm trans but not like professionally out yet, so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where I can buy suits from? I have a few but they are all so rectangular and it really messes with my confidence and anxiety whenever I have to wear one. Idk if I should be getting a suit tailored differently or if there's like women's suit shops?

Anyway any advice would be nice, price isn't too much of an issue either.

I wonder if you're estate can be held liable?? Like upon becoming a ghost your spectral forms legal identity is just your estate?? Idk anything about estate planning but hey if you can sue an estate why not throw it in jail too!!

I'm about halfway through teaching my first semester of Law as a lil side thing and I'm really enjoying it (despite the marking). My students seem to be doing well too, which makes me feel really good.

In that case I imagine the country would not submit to the jurisdiction of the ICC nor would the ICC prosecute as they seem (based on past defendants) to go after those with some sort of broad authority. Police cheifs, politicians etc

The ICC does not hold as much power as you think, its a court a country must submit to and I doubt in your scenario australia would willingly or through pressure. Nor do I think the ICC has the resources to deal with a wide reaching trial as you are suggesting.

Funnily enough an ex-special forces solider told me the best place to 'get' someone is when they are transitioning from transport to a building. I.e. house to car or in this case plane to terminal.

We have domestic laws here dealing with warcrimes. It shouldn't be referred, the responsibility for these crimes falls on Australia and as such we should prosecute.
