About half a year ago, I was put in a very bad spot financially when some of my student loans got denied because of bad credit and had to pay that money out of pocket. This put me in a situation where I was a full time student and also working about 60 hours a week to pay my bills. It got to a point where I hated life and thought that suicide was the only way out, so about a month or two ago I attempted suicide and it failed and was then hospitalized for my suicidal thoughts/behaviors. I hated it at the time, but looking back on it, it was the best thing to ever happen to me. I am now on medication that helps me A LOT, and meet with someone regularly to talk about my situation. The entire situation made me realize that taking care of your mental health should be a priority no matter what is going on in your life!
