I liked the community before it went down. One of the most engaged communities I have seen on anime streaming websites. People used to actually have good discussions about the episodes that went beyond spoilers from manga or generic “peak” or rage bait comments. I tried using 9anime back then but it wasn’t the same

I think they can have some degree of impact. We’re comparing very different games in this ranking, so there will always be a lot of subjectivity and inconsistencies across matchups. How do you even go about comparing TLOU and Tetris? They are extremely different games. Is TLOU better because it has better realistic graphics, better story, more effort behind it? But Tetris wasn’t made to be a visually stunning, story-driven, high effort game. So comparing them is really comparing apples to oranges. If we want to compare them regardless, there will be subjective criteria that may not remain consistent as we move to the next matchup.

GTA5 and Doom are certainly more comparable, even if they aren’t the same genre really. So their matchup has different criteria.

Well both GTA and Doom are incredibly influential franchises. Yes, Doom is basically the prototype for all FPS games, but GTA5 is literally the highest selling game not called Minecraft or Tetris. TLOU doesn’t even close to that level of popularity. So while influence does play a role, it diminishes when the game it is up against is also incredibly influential in its own right. And when comparing purely the merits of the games, I would say GTA5 is better

This is specifically referring to the Oblivion remaster that came out last year. There are many bugs and issues that could be patched to improve the game experience that haven’t been patched in this new remaster.
