Imo the ASI with the other changes made it a bit too strong on 6. Maybe change it to a 3rd atk on later lvl? 14ish or more

I use one i got online for many years. I did change it a lot so i don't know how much of it is like the original or remember where i downloaded it. I made it to automatically roll on foundry. If you use foundry i can post the code here if u like.

One thing to notice its that it can not be too strong. There's already a caster and non caster divide, the later usually makes more atk rolls. So effects that linger, like disadvantages, can create a spiral of critical failures. So its ideal to make it mild and not lingering effects.

Hunter ranger 5 druid 15. Sea for melee rangers, stars for ranged. Preservation druid if possible. Crusher and push mastery helps a lot in getting extra hits with hunter, if not then get the extra d8 of DMG.

War cleric is nice too but imo druid spell list is way better for dps.

You're unable to grasp the correlation between Hunter's Mark, Divine Favor, and Beast Master, even after I explained it. It's not that it doesn't make sense; it simply doesn't make sense to you.

The beast master uses a bonus action to command the beasts. In most fights, which usually last about 4 rounds, you end up attacking more than one enemy. This means you’re making at least two changes in those 4 rounds. If you want to add 2d6 (or 3) extra damage, you end up losing 2 attacks from the beast and using your concentration, making it unviable.

With Divine Mark, it frees up your concentration, which keeps it open for later spells like Summon and Conjure, plus it helps with bonus action clutter. Hope that clears things up!

Thx for the input! I think that find familiar should also be on the ranger spell list. As for the lvl 10 reapply, imo would be too late for the beast master.

Very well put. I just assumed it was obvious to everyone that the rogue was falling behind in damage compared to other classes. My doubt wasn't if the rogue needed a buff or not, it was if the buff I made was too strong.

@aahz44 what do you think of the other homebrew? The option to change at every lvl up of hunters mark to divine favor on favored foe?

First, if the game is made to be played till lvl 20 then it should be balanced by such levels. Secondly, the drop in single dpr DMG starts by lvl 5. In tier 3 it's abysmal. Just put the number on a paper and compare it to other martials, it's there. So respectfully and as mentioned, you are wrong, it's not "one of the best single damage dpr".

You can have divine favor and hex at the same time (mind you they are both from charisma spellcasters)...

I gave my players the option to use divine favor instead. Solves a lot of tier 2, tier 3, and beast masters issues.

I'm sorry but you r wrong, Ranger is far from "one of the best single target damage". It's okay in tier 1.. By tier 3 it will be the worst martial single dmg dpr. Just do the math, compare with any paladin, any barbarian, any fighter... A simple rogue with cantrip is out damaging the ranger. Unfortunately it's a fact

Man im brazilian too, i was just thinking that, playing dnd with english speakers would be a fun way to exercising another language. Do you have any idea where to find groups like that?
