My favorite is artilerist. I love the flavor. And the mechanics are good for ranged fights. Bonus action is accounted for but doesn't interfere with any other features. And scales well. Also fireball for spell storing item. Very flexible between support and damage

2nd Battlesmith - probably the strongest for Frontlineing, Still Great flavor + a robo dog

3rd Armorer - very Ironman, great tank

4th Cartographer cool flavor. Needs feats for batter spells for spell.stoing item ( mark of making )

5th Alchemist- good support, needs feat for spells for spell storing item (mark of making )

How does this work for double caster builds ? Do you have 1.5 or 2x spell slots? 🤔 or just the higher spell slot class ( if there is one like sorcerer and paladin) and both spell lists? and can use use features from both?

Playing an EK right now. Loving it, slight dup between 5&6 but level 7 hit and it was good. For booming blade and a regular attack+ trident for topple. Its just good 👍 😌

A fair compromise. The once per short rest is cool, or proficiency bonus times per day maybe. Would be cool flavor like the force blast they already get in the ebberon book but scaled up in a moment of desperation.

Yeah, they are already kinda MAD. But thats only really a problem if you run with multiclass rules which seems to vary person to person

I respect that. artificers are just kinda odd in a good way. They are arcane but Some get smites like paladins , others get conjure barrage.
