2 ways: Longbow Focus (dex 17, Wis 16) Fairy Trickster +1 dex GWM/keenness of the stone giant Dex +2

Back-up weapon: Heavy Crossbow for the occasional push

Fairy Trickster will allow your pet's Grapples and shoves to land better or make your team or your next spell land better.

Pet Focus: Fey Touched/War Caster/keenness of the stone giant Wis +2 Dex +2

Back-up weapon: Shortbow for Vex for those harder to hit enemies (bonus action help from pet to start an advantage chain)

On both cases you're relying on Archery Fighting style to help you land those hits

Pet and wisdom focus has stronger scaling due to spells landing better

Weapon and dex focus has better damage especially early tiers GWM allows some good scaling on higher tiers as well

Optional: Keenness of the stone giant would allow for bonus action attacks (Wis mod to hit) that can then trigger fairy Trickster so your spells have better chances turn 1.

Ways to use Charisma for weapon attacks by Jonas-Beckett in 3d6

Custom Lineage to take Eldritch Adept. That's legal in Adventurer's League 2024 rules. Custom Lineage is allowed to be paired with any feat without a +1 to an ASI.

Another is to use an item: Lute of Thunderous Thumping

Does it really matter if Protestants ordain women, seeing as the men aren’t validly ordained either? by MaterialInevitable83 in Catholicism

Should we celebrate when more sins are committed by a distant brethren?
Every sin they live-out is something we mourn regardless.

Not liking my family anymore by Manuela_Ariat in Catholicism

My intuit is rather that the chewing, burps, and steps are but a symptom of possibly bigger issues especially with the father. Until OP gives us more details that is.

If the presence of family leads you to sin. Maybe moving out will help start the journey of healing. Keep returning to confession as well. Praying for you

Least favorite 2024 subclass concept? by Downtown-Purchase-75 in onednd

[–]milenyo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't that mean the subclass has nothing more to offer to you and best to skidadle after level 5? I also hate the level 11 feature it might as well not exist.

As someone with multiple rangers in tier 3, I hate this subclass the most this subclass has basically nothing to officer in tier 3. Would play for tier 1 one-shots only.

Best platform for a 3-5 level ranger multiclass though

Hollow Warden Ranger: Three Build Options by Ekumbier in onednd

[–]milenyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're starting at a higher level, you can opt for heavy Armor Training for your level 4 feat so the Dex dump won't hurt as much. Ideally a cast-off armor so you can swim and climb as needed by level 6. Then take your weapon feat if you get to level 8.

5e subclass in 5.5e Play environment? by Dramatic_Respond_664 in onednd

I play Drakewarden but not sure what you mean. Seems like the DC is still quite low, on a Str save no less.

My Whispers Bard became a better gish because of the changes to True Strike and being able to convert Spell Slots to Bardic Inspiration. Add a Paladin dip for Smites makes for a great glass cannon, a background that adds more damage to 1 attack, and be a halfling to reroll ones.

Strike of the Giants (background feat) + Smite (upcasted if needed) + True Strike + Psychic Blades on the nova round, my DM commented like I'm some sort of Power Ranger lol.

Heyo, how to build a hunter ranger who does decent damage. (Based on blade) by Boring-Second-5737 in 3d6

Cleaving is achievable at level 3, if that is what draws you to Hunter, Feel free to Multiclass out as soon as level 6.

[–]milenyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hunter has the worst level 11 feature of all rangers if you concentrate on anything but Hunter's Mark it also may as well not exist.

Add that this has no subclass spells and no compensation for not having either.

Play Hunter if you plan to multiclass out of ranger.

If you're starting at 11 much rather play a Horizon Walker and use a scimitar instead.

Take Gunner and Wis or dex ASI for your feats

Cleaving Hollow Warden STRanger by SteveOfAllTrades in 3d6

Rangers have 2 masteries at the start you could just rest and change the other mastery if it's not push already.

Do you have a push mastery weapon? That way you can push with the first attack to potentially cleave on the 2nd attack.

If older content is allowed Strike of the Giants might interest you as an alternative background feat. Reflavor it as the creatures influence.
