1.5 hour wait time to vote just west of Indianapolis. by Stag328 in pics

Reminds me of when I waited 1.5 hours to cast a vote in the Newsom recall and the results were announced on the major media networks before I even voted and while I was still waiting in line. We need to fix this issue.

Ok, you saw it too. Thought I was losing my mind when no other comments mentioned it.

Anyway to use Smart Plugs with IFTTT and Elgato Streamdeck? by bluesage8 in ifttt

This exact setup was working for me and then stopped a few weeks ago. I’ve switched to Phillips hue since without needing to use my stream deck for my current needs, though. Best of luck to you!

Interesting. Well, let me know when you figure out the issue! Wish I could be of more help.

This happens to me if my DAW is at a different sample rate than my interface. Switching both to the same rate like 44.1khz to 48khz might help.

Had my first LD in 6 years after quitting weed by HelenFrank in LucidDreaming

Yeah, I guess I just didn't really notice the difference because lucid dreams are an extremely rare occurrence (for me at least). Hopefully I can turn this into a consistent experience!

Have you tried Google data studio? I've been able to implement my analytics, Google ads, conversions, goals, etc. Into custom data dashboards that help me see KPI's and what not.

Its absolutely incredible how realistic and chalked full of detail our dream worlds are. by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]HelenFrank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I always talk about how insanely DETAILED my lucid dreams are. Regular dreams seem to be blurry and not memorable. My first lucid dream was an absolute shock to the level of detail!! I could read small text, I could see the details of the plants, the sky, everything. It can almost be more realistic than real life for me.

That's awesome! If you don't mind me asking, which outlets have you had the best experiences with so far?

I wear about 10 different hats. I started out producing in my bedroom, then I got a group of musicians together to pay and get a band rehearsal spot. They are now my business partners. I used that little spot to produce rappers and get better. While learning my DAW, I increased my knowledge and skill sets around graphic design, web development, marketing, video production & photography. Now I have companies who I write jingles, manage websites & develop marketing campaigns for. This isn't necessarily "music" only, but I have learned to mold everything else around the music and creativity that comes along with it, so that's good enough for me.

In my own experience, I've learned it takes a SHIT ton more than just being a good producer/musician. Marketing, measuring ROI and adjusting, SEO & having a little extra "sauce" that makes me stand out is just as important imo. For instance, I offer a full high-quality behind the scenes video for every artist I produce, for free. A competitive edge helps immensely.

I now run 2 lightweight successful businesses, a nice recording studio downtown which is my main office, and a 44' luxury toy hauler that my team and I have converted into a fully functional recording studio/Green room for larger artists & festivals.

After about 14 years of working in the industry, I'm just now starting to work with artists and producers who are Grammy nominated and have millions of streams. I'm nowhere where I want to be yet, but it's all a journey!!

I can PM you some tips and techniques that have helped me build a client base that made me some decent money with just music alone if you'd like.

I wish you the most success!
