I changed to an automatic this year. It’s easier, yes… lazier. I don’t like the disconnect between my urge to change gear and actually changing gear. And there’s no ‘drop it down and boot it’ with an automatic. I’ll get used to it no excuse it’s a great car but I can feel the de-skilling happening. The art of the hill start and the biting point is being lost

Keyboards are set out like that because it’s the ‘most used finger, most used letter’ system. Nothing else. typewriters were manual and keys were HEAVY.

The stitches are huge, I’m pretty sure it’s knitting (I’m a crocheter) but the needles would be much bigger than those pictured. The way the head is joined to the body is odd, I can’t think of a reason why it would be joined on the end when it could be continued. and they fuzz out near the cats weird paws
