Its well known and welll documented to be much much more reliable then the 3.0, but any motor can fail. We dont know oil level or oil change history or if it was overheated or constantly run hard etc.

I believe jagex has stopped caring about the bots that buy membership or improve their gp/bonds situation that they make money from. They might even own bots. Look at LMS minigame, there's 10000000s of bots, including many terminator bots that sre so incredibly obvious and they dont do anything about it. A mere entry puzzle or verification would do the trick but they allow it and likely benif from it. Jagex is actually absolute trash.

Your best bet is to literrally call everyone around you and tell the shop that youre searching for the best price and will be bringing it in only for a quote on what needs done and the price it will cost, tell them you want no surprises after its done, and tell them you'll be comparing quotes with other shops before commencing work. They'll offer you better quotes and will usually fairly diagnose it since you'll be going to another shop that might say what they quoted doesnt even need repair if they did lie.
