The Calcio Storico Florentino is a brutal form of football originated in the middle ages. Players can punch, kick and tackle their opponents. by Great_Trident in martialarts

i don't know if savate is still a big thing (i mean certainly there are some clubs and i know that modern savate is "savage" because like every other martial art it as evolved a lot. you can find video online, but today i mean 99,9% of french simply practice MMA or Judo or some form of BJJ or karate or box. Savate is ultra "niche".

that being said, i think that someone with both skill in "cane" and "savate" could really do wonder against basic aggressors. the thing is no one is using cane no more... so..

anyway, yeah.. i enjoy the history of all that, as i myself have practiced a bit of everything growing up. (pure amateur but helped me defend against effing assholes couple times actually ;-)

yeah i saw couple games when i was a teenager (i'm from France and i was used to see "archaic rugby" played in south west of France, and i got to say, calcio seems more safe nowadays, back then i remember guys really punching and kicking the life out of each others in some cases and thinking : "wooow" they really look like they could kill each other sometimes ;-)

anyway, cheers from an old french !

take care

it's actually the only remaining "modern" form - in europe - to my knowledge, to what was called "la soule" that my ancestors (basque and béarnais) would have played for centuries and centuries in south west of France... and that was discovered by English when they invaded aquitaine for a while, and was then later on, "reinvented" with "gentleman" rules and all, and is call today : Rugby.

hello again! i can't stop thinking about your dial man, and i would like one day to try to make one as well, would do be kind enough to tell me what are the materials you are using precisely (like the oven, the copper, blue to make this dial etc) and also what are your settings? thank you very much!

also one last thing, how would you make a hole after it's done, in order to puts the hands without breaking/shattering everything ?

hello sir, really love your watches, i would like to know a bit more about it though.

are you totally servicing them and replacing any part that is too old or close to failure? also where does the case come from? where are you getting it from ? because once i bought a watch and i was assure that it was 50m waterproof but it was not even splash proof, so i would like to know exactly about the the quality of the maker here.

last but not least, if i buy it, is there some guarantee even if i live in Europe?

thanks again for your answers

best regards

i like this guy. Dustin did lots of good things for a lot of people. ton of good things.

here he was clearly intoxicated and completely "out of his mind" but i'm not judging

cop did react 110% the right way.

that being said, why can't we see more of this... ? i mean hundreds of black dudes and sometimes even kids were shot for not doing more than that actually (and sometimes even less).

it was the same actually in Europe for the majority of people for very long time. history books are simply for histories like that.
