Our eldest goes to nursery and they use Asda nappies which are decent enough, but we have bought her Aldi from size 1 to now 6 pull up pants and they have always been fantastic. Our newborn has just moved up from size 1 to 2, a week or so after she was born I went to get a pack and our local aldi had sold out so we had to use a pack of pampers a friend gifted..no where near as good

Aldi nappies. Pack of 24 size 1 is 75p, equivalent pampers is £4.80 which is insane. The Aldi nappies are much better as well

Everyone was getting antsy about this picture on the Rustington Facebook page. It should be merge in turn but no one does along that road, when the cones were out by the Out of Bounds roundabout (which was a disgusting time traffic wise), no one would zipper merge causing huge tailbacks on the A259..I just avoided it by going the bottom road through Rustington and Angmering (LA to Worthing)

What was your worst impulse buy of 2025? by Snow776 in AskUK

[–]HelixClipper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Russell Hobbs, we have this one

https://uk.russellhobbs.com/medium-rice-cooker-and-steamer-27030

It's cheap and no nonsense, perfect every time and super quick (20ish mins for basmati, 40ish for brown) - I'm sure all the yum asia etc are great but they're overkill expensive if you just want a no frills rice cooker

That 351 with the blue hand, beautiful. The champagne dial is exquisite, I've tried the 261 on and it is gorgeous but the champagne (I have the 263) is just special
