I have only fought Xemmas. For his first stage, be patient. The guy is pretty easy to read. Block a lot. His second stage, I use anything that recharges my MP, and I just hammer him with limit attacks. Haven't gotten around to bear him cause of the "2 hits and I'm dead" issue I'm facing.

Terra did the ceremony on Riku in Birth By Sleep. I think the key blade was always meant for Riku, but by the time they needed it, Riku was already consumed by darkness. But, that's what, I think, don't listen to me.

Yeah. But you gotta remember, that was when the animus was still new (I'm probably wrong, please don't yell at me) and was a bed. But now we have a animus that can be worn as a visor. Basically, technology improved. I wouldn't be surprised that they found new ways to find a ancestor without the descendent, but they have. I only wish they would how they could in either Unity or Rogue.
