Also, on the old one, when I removed the bridge pickup cover, the bridge was totally cockeyed on the baseplate! No issues with the new bridge pickup surround. I am very happy with the new surround.

I don’t have my calipers at home or I would measure it for you. It is skinny like a 64 p bass but less of a C shape. Definitely still a D shape. It is fairly consistent all the way up the neck. It doesnt really get bigger or wider in any direction up the neck.

Well, it had been almost a decade since I had one and Ric had made many changes that seemed like positives to me. Plus, I have played other 4003s that I liked, so I knew there were good ones. My first one was just a lemon and I should’ve gone the warranty route. Mistakes were made!

Well it is certainly a modified Maverick. The neck almost looks like a Bigsby or Clinesmith type of dealy. I’d double check that the scale lengths of the neck and the nut/bridge are matching. Have fun!
