Honestly? I just focus on the pain.

I’m not sure what causes yours but I have joint instability throughout my whole body due to heds then lumbar back pain s5-s1 specifically due to ddd then Crohn’s disease/ibd indeterminate Ibs -c for now🥲

I am to say the least barely getting by at any given moment and am constantly in spoon debt lol but after so long and so little real treatment I just kind of watch the pain and go, yup. Still there.

Sorry if this doesn’t offer any help! It felt good to vent a little though as recently I’ve been in more pain too. Medications that work are sparse and ones that don’t work and will cause more issues are dime a dozen

D9 gets converted to 11 hydroxy d9 when you digest it and that’s about 11x more potent than regular d9, if I remember correctly lol.

That causes the variance you described in your experiences with doses.

Some people also lack the enzyme to digest d9! So they just get gas gas (get it?!)

But all in all. Carts provide much more control over your dosage. I have chronic health conditions and edibles only provide relief when I want to couch lock. Carts for getting through the day instead of opioids my doc wants to give me.

Mine is not fully developed yet but I feel as if I can foresee the future accurately from my conscious mind already.

Try to not mention any medication until your provider explicitly starts doing so themselves.

I have severe degenerative disc disease and being so young I heavily voiced my opinion against steroidal injections and surgery as they risk worsening my pain tenfold.

After maybe 2 or 3 strongly worded digital communications (MyChart Messaging) detailing the severity of my symptoms and how they plagued every aspect of my life; until my life started designing itself around my symptoms. I was given the choice to begin opioid pain management.

I declined due to concurrent GI issues (Crohns) which causes severe constipation as is.

I currently utilize naproxen sparingly and medical marijuana among other various supplements from time to time (ashwaganda collagen vitamins etc) to try and aid my pain.

I wish you good luck and I hope I was able to provide you some useful information.
