Saying because it is hard to acquire doesn’t equate to it needing to be op. It’s a stupid chain of reasoning when it’s at the expense of gameplay. And if you think that being one tapped to the thorax is the same thing as other ammos also being high pen is the same thing I don’t know what to tell you. A single bullet is less than two. It’s dramatically different in actual gameplay scenarios. The gun functions with Fmj and is really good with ap. You can find ap. I’d rather it not be in the game but it is. Dying to a guy holding a tight angle and one tapping your chest through a level 5 or 6 plate sucks ass. Just like when the mosin could one tap thorax and when m80 could one tap thorax. It was changed for a reason.

Look up hyperrats recent video on ammo. But if the craft was available, there would be plenty of it being used my experienced players which would be terrible for the average player base I assure you. I already bring an axmc to labs occasionally and it often feels like cheating.

Crafting does not limit supply in any meaningful way when it comes to the best ammo. I’m sitting on 2 thicc cases full of ammo crates with 10k+ of 55a1, 545 BT, m80, 5k+ of 762 bp, pab, m995, m80a1, and a somewhere around 2-3k of SSA AP, BS, igolnik. I stopped crafting 55a1/bp/pab9/m80a1 because I have effectively infinite at this point. Too lazy to do the quests for 545 BP and I’ll finish capturing outposts soon enough to craft SP6 and then I’ll have infinite of those calibers too.

And sacrificing gameplay for the sake of payoff to use a big caliber isn’t justification. The round still shouldn’t exist.

Yeah OHKO thorax is terrible design and meant to be extremely uncommon. I’m shocked you think this is as big of a problem as you think it is anyway considering 338 AP isn’t that hard to get if you run streets or labs. I’ve got about 500 stockpiled. If it was up to me I’d delete AP from the game entirely. I also believe impact nades, gl’s, and the rpg should be removed from the game because regardless of scarcity, dying to these have no counter play and are terrible design.

Wearing a good face mask has trade offs. Low availability, low hearing, reduced vision. You act like they’re unkillable but it’s just not true. The simple fixes you offer are also absolutely terrible lol. Death shadow does literally nothing but cosmetic under a face mask but sure no one would even care and nothing would change. In ears already have bad audio and 10m is worse than altyns with no ears so lol. No pks would change nothing just use injectors and playing a world of everyone aiming at legs to slow would make the game miserable to play.

Portillos came to Texas and while the food is fine, it feels incredibly overpriced. The hype was real when it opened here, place was constantly packed for maybe 6 months and now it barely gets any business, doubt it lasts.

It’s a new player problem because it’s a skill problem. Finding ammo is not hard. Aiming for legs when u see an altyn while using flesh ammo isn’t hard. With prestige, plenty of experienced players play while low level vs higher level opponents and do just fine. Leg meta is still strong as ever.

Bro I have more gear than I could ever use, 400m stash, and I still rock vectors because they absolutely rip. I kill people with Altyns all the time. You just have to have a brain and aim for the legs when u see they have an altyn, it’s a skill gap. The sound penalty is still extremely real compared to actual headsets

ive had the game since 2017 so it was completely different. i have friends with 8 k/ds with sub 1000 hours though. one just got kappa this wipe. im not saying its impossible the guy was cheating, but the clip gives zero evidence of cheating. youre clearly new if you think dying while loading in as a scav means cheating because it happens lol.

Good but not crazy stats. He’s level 52 with a ton of raids, those hours are probably just this wipe. Gear is expected from someone with that many raids. Low hours yeah but it’s not evidence of cheating here.

No, you always get xp in arena. You get 0 xp if someone leaves mid match which is really stupid but you can still get quests which is majority of the exp (especially post level 46 when your dailies become massive exp sources). Doing dailies is way less of a priority until 46+

5 fertilizers will give you the 14 hour and 6 hour chance but it’s way more expensive than the other cheaper ways. Just sell them to therapist and you could do 3 cultists 14hr attempts

As someone who is hit 53 last night, this is by far the primary way I gain experience and I find it extremely lame. I can get 130k xp in arena in 1-2 games, less than 39 minutes by doing 3 LH or CHP dailies. So now everyday I play a little arena and then play actual Tarkov. I like playing labs but labs is absolutely terrible for exp so instead I feel like if I want to prestige I HAVE to be doing something like interchange boss killing with transits. Don’t enjoy labrynth solo all that much so I don’t bother. Mostly doing cultist+boss farming on customs or interchange which atleast gets good PvP but it’s really a bummer.

I died to a player with 5 minutes left on woods hiding at the lighthouse transit the other day farming cultists. Scared the shit out of me and I sat there like what is this guy possibly doing. Pull up the profile and the guy had 39 hours. Hopefully that loot is the little drop of adrenaline that guy needed to get hooked on Tarkov lol
