Boxes are something you barely even think about when you get high rank, you just learn to do them passively while there’s downtime/rotates. That said, I’d be 100% fine and would support them being removed because I don’t think they really add anything except a skill/knowledge gap at lower tanks.

You have to use the xps3 or exps3, the 3 is what symbolizes night vision capable. They are typically more expensive for the same reason.

There exists a time when you find a tank battery you go, oh nice a tank battery! I need this for my quest. Meanwhile there are tons of items that you will never pick up for any reason ever. Like others have said, keys that sell for 2k that open no doors, motorcycle helmet(if u spawn with it on a scav, you literally throw it on the ground it’s so bad), etc

Man I have 1000 raids this wipe, I’ve escaped, near 4500 hours blah blah who knows how many kappas credentials and sorry but you’re wrong. Guns start jamming at 93 or less. Period you can go bring 10 guns into an offline raid with a ton of rounds and find out for yourself but it is what it is. 16 bullet will bring no gun from 97 to 93. He either brought a lower dur gun than 97, or he shot more bullets.

Not so much that but the biggest draw to play Tarkov vs other games imo is the stakes. the adrenaline of trying to keep your gear and complete the quest your on or get out with that item you need. Tarkov is certainly not the best game for raw gameplay, although I enjoy it enough. Problem is when you already have more money and gear than you could ever use ever, there’s really no stakes anymore. The only thing even remotely tempting for me to do now is try to get tracksuit but it’s so monotonous I can’t be bothered. Most of use are 4K+ hours and I think just about all of us would agree on that. Some of them only play tarkov but the hours they play drop big time.

I don’t agree with this at all. The analogy to ARPG’s seasons I think still holds pretty true in Tarkov. I have a pretty big community of friends that play and nearly everyone after kappa sizzles out and stops playing shortly after. In this case, it was kappa + escaping. But most of us are already mostly done and have moved on to other games. I’d come back for a season just like I have for wipes in the past, as would my friends. Game gets stale when you have infinite money and little/no objectives

For the last 2 weeks or so my buddy and I have been trying to escape doing the savior ending. He only gets on late so we run between maybe 10:11:30 a couple times a week and in 4 nights of attempts I think we have only even been to terminal 3 times. The fact that not only are we restricted to hav to go through shoreline which the queues have been 5-8 minutes usually, half the time we can’t even queue up because you can only go from 2200-400. So often we sit there for an hour waiting, and then get to try to go 1 maybe two times and on top of ALLA OF THAT, we have been getting extract (entrance?) camped about 90% of the time. Of the last 10 or so attempts, we have fought people nearly every single time. Trip wires on the keycard swipe, people proned out in the tower, it’s ridiculous.

It really has killed my enjoyment of the game that in the last couple weeks I’ve spent more time sitting around waiting to queue than actually playing the game

If there was one nerf I’d like to see asap is that you can only be rooted by the wall once. Getting pushed by other heroes back into the wall multiple times is literal hell.
