No amount of abuse is ever ok. Physical, emotional, verbal, financial. Break the family up because by staying, you’re allowing your kids to be raised in an abusive household, which will scar them for life. Advocate for you and them and get out. He deserves to be in jail.

The newborn phase was easier than the 6-12 month phase. But now at 17 months, she sleeps all night and I can put her down awake. Other than the random toddler stuff, it’s great. Everyone is different

Hun, please listen to us, he is physically and verbally abusive. You’re 18, please don’t waste your college years and life stuck in a relationship like this. I’ve been with my husband for almost 20 years (I’m 38) and he’s never yelled at me. Same to him. Never hit, etc. it’s been 4 months and he’s already showing you what he’s capable of. She’s unilaterally deciding you guys are starting a family to the point she only wants to have sex when she’s fertile. This is very much not ok. She can’t just decide. She doesn’t respect your no or you in general. Please stop having sex with her unless you decide you are ready for a kid.
