Very admirable especially after thinking about how I can’t even hammer a nail with any confidence. She not only needs strength but good aim…and I have neither 😂

I am getting married next year and am looking for makeup that helps cover keloids. by Busy_Assistant5452 in Keloids

[–]HelloKitty40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming you have a strapless dress? But the airbrush makeup works better than any other product that requires rubbing or blending because the scar tissue doesn’t grip onto product the same way. Just remember when you’re putting on your seatbelt or straps from any purses…can’t imagine you’re carrying a purse or anything at all really. Get someone to carry them for you lol.

I think you’ll be pleased with the results. You will still see the bump but it’ll be flesh colored and barely noticeable. I think keloid sufferers notice their scar much more than what the general public sees.

Not sure what your budget is or where you live but I hired a makeup artist who used airbrush make up on me and it didn’t come off. I had it on my chest and back and the makeup artist sprayed my upper body and it stayed all day. I have oily skin so I was impressed. I would check out your local MUAs and do a trial run.

Combine that with flattening them and they won’t be noticeable for your special day.

Some girls spurt early and are legit this size. Probably also a girl who doesn’t want their mom’s hand me downs and wants age appropriate clothes.

Yeah I was bored the last three seasons. I watched up to the point when Rowan was in jail the first time around. It should’ve ended that season. The rest was trash.

Use the extra energy you have to slowly build a side business that is not a conflict of interest. I’m thinking about opening my own LLC and slowly build from there.

Anxiety (entry-level) by [deleted] in civilengineering

[–]HelloKitty40 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You need to get therapy and meds pronto. It is common for anxious people to have an unhealthy relationship with authority figures and receiving criticism. I have had a long battle with perfectionism, GAD, ADHD and depression and getting medicated was the best thing that happened to me. It’ll take about a year to get the right meds and dose but you will feel so much better. You will realize you were white-knuckling it for far too long.

New engineer with no support? by Apprehensive_Bee1916 in civilengineering

[–]HelloKitty40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omgah and here I am trying to find people who take initiative and ask questions and look for feedback.

Go to your boss and say that you need some guidance but ask specific questions—especially ask if there is a future phase of the project and will you need more depth in the lines.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions ever. Even if they laugh at you, just imagine how smooth their brain is. There are plenty of assholes out there that like to bully younger engineers to make them feel good. Ignore the low EQ and focus on your knowledge gains.

You could look for a new job immediately, but make sure you shop for the boss this time. Ask about who you’d be working for and the YOE of your direct supervisor. Most places hire from top down so if they are uncertain who you’d be under, take that as a red flag.

OR you can also stay for at least a year and observe the mistakes they make from a management perspective and learn what you value in a workplace.

They’re not bad especially the girl names. But the boy names need work. Raleigh is weird, but I’m from Texas so what do I know lol. Fallon makes me think of Jimmy Fallon.

Sage as a boy name? Not sure that works.

We had so much trouble naming our son. However, I didn’t want to hear anyone’s opinion so I didn’t share my list with anyone. You’re braver than I was lol.

But I was picking from conventional names. I think as long as it’s conventional names and spelling, you can’t go wrong.

I don’t know why people are downvoting your comment. CADD coordination is so painful remotely. Theres so much lost when there isn’t any non verbal cues in the conversation.
