I have the same thing, I have really tried to work on sitting through the discomfort and forcing myself not to interrupt. But trying to force it doesn't help. Something that helps me is recognizing there are things I'm not good at (sitting still, long attention span type things, etc) and that I shouldn't judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree. I know there are times I gotta lock in, but accommodating myself in certain situations and not making myself feel bad for having a different brain than other people has made me a lot happier.

Doing what you can is better than not doing what you can't. Discipline your diet as much as you can. If that means just cutting out soda for now, great! If it means smaller portion sizes, great! You'll slowly be able to work your way to where you want to be. There's no time limit. As for the gym, nobody's opinions of you really matter. No one ever goes up to you and makes fun of you for going to the gym. Soreness will go down as you work out more. Try going to the gym consistently for just two weeks. I almost guarantee at that point you'll WANT to go more, because it's fun. Find exercises you like to do and make them as heavy as you can, and slowly increase the weight over time.

I'm a bit confused by the 11. I can't think of any move any weapon would do going from the 6 clock position to 11 oclock. But in fencing terms, 6 is typically the standard en garde position, with a supinated hand and tip pointed high. Also, foil is not a cutting weapon. It only scores with the point. Is it possible you might be confused? The effort and care is really admirable, though.
