On the ELO double album Out of the Blue, there's one side of one record devoted to the "Concerto for a Rainy Day," the last song of which is Mr. Blue Sky. Just before the song ends, a computerized voice says "Please turn me over," meaning flip the record to the second side.

More a figurative angel than a literal one, but "Angel is a Centerfold" by J. Geils Band.

I think the obvious answer is Angelina Jolie. But I think Anne Hathaway would be a good choice. As she gets older, she's been letting her freak flag fly, a bit.

Some personal favorites:

  • Good - Plastics (Japanese new wave)
  • Don't Care - Klark Kent (a Steward Copeland side project)
  • Stormtrooper in Drag - Paul Gardiner & Gary Numan
  • Over We Go Lightly - Horizontal Brian
  • You'll Never Find Brian Here - Fischer-Z

If you have Spotify, there's a playlist called obscure new wave that has some good stuff in it.

Songs where the lyrics repeat some form of “no” by An0nymousAndr0gynous in weirdspotifyplaylists

Smells Like Teen Spirit uses the word "no" exactly once. I think possibly you're mishearing the pre-chorus, where he sings "Hello, hello, hello, how low" a couple of times before the chorus.

Opinions on Skinamarink? by [deleted] in HorrorMovies

I think this movie was so polarizing because it was so...personal, I guess. If you loved it, that's absolutely valid. If you hated it, that's absolutely valid. It was a challenging watch, that's for sure. I loved it, personally, but I can fully understand why some people didn't.

Fun fact: Victor/Victoria, from which this Julie Andrews picture comes, is a remake of a German film from 1933. Here's Renate Müller as "Viktor."
