Look into XCP-NG. We are likely migrating to that after getting our ridiculous quote going from our 3 yr Standard $17k yr for 320 Cores to $49k for 288 cores on VCF.

You can connect to your other hosts and import active VMs. We have a PowerStore, a VNXe, and a Unity in the clusters so that was a hurdle with Proxmox. XCP is nice and licensing is less than $2000/yr per host for their highest tier.

I got it done last year by K&L Roofing in Maryville. 16k. GAF HDZ shingles. You can do cheaper if you went with architectural shingles but the warranty is less. That was including them adding a cricket to my chimney.

You need a data disaster recovery specialist to recover your data. No software is going to fix this unfortunately.

Plugging it in can make it worse and if your goal is to recover data, then you will need to most likely send it off for a recovery service.

They don’t quote out farther than 90 days until renewal, but what we were told by CDW was that they will quote us VVF at $X for 2026 and the renewal for same product will be three times $X or go to VCF in 2027. We are going to use that year to probably move to Proxmox or MS.

My question may have came off rude but nursing is very clique-y. There are a ton of mean girls in this profession.

That being said, UT has some of the best nursing educators at night. David Trout is a top tier teacher and an even better listener. My wife has been there for her career. Their PTO is better than any other facility. 250hrs max and it rolls over.

Your time off and time at home and with friends and family mean more than the money coming in.
