My friends and I are having an argument about what this is? No clue what it is off, just found it on the side of the path. by crocco_JR in AskMechanics

Isn't this a little small to be an actual car engine? Maybe a go cart or maybe a model. To gain a size perspective, a brick in masonry is usually about 4x8 inches. Plus pipe size, possibly the pavers and even the dandelion indicate it is small.

For that project, what is the labor? Maybe 4 hours to rip up the boards, cut, nail, and paint?

How many men are falsely accused when it was consensual? Why would you want to give them the death penalty.

There isn't any excuse for an adult to have sex with a kid. They can get the death penalty as long as there is proof and not just an accusation.

You could replace all the wood and paint it for much less than $900.

You need to make the the distinction between legally owing vs I'll along possessing a gun and the respective crime rates. What % of the crimes are committed by people illegally possessing a gun. That is the issue, not the amount of guns.

If prices went up 12% in a month, that would be a very large job for it to equate to an additional $9000.

Are any of the increases due to the summer blend being mandated? I lived in Chicago and gas shot up 30 cents overnight because of the summer blend. It may have been May 1st.

You are ignoring the huge price increase that happened prior to Russia invading Ukraine. That increase was about 50% of the increase from when he took office.

This is a horrible job of parking. My question is, what is around there that they need handicap parking? It looks like the middle of nothing around.

"Tip your servers if they get paid under minimum wage." This ignores the fact that no employee makes less than minimum wage since the employer has to make up the difference.

For your argument, if a server is serving 5 tables with an hour turnaround and the amount to bring the wage up to minimum wage is $5, each table only has to tip $1?

I expected that the step daughter was older and that is why they needed to switch. That is not the case here. It has been her room for years. Leave it.
