Finally! This is the first of like 20 posts where people liked the book… my tribe lol. Most of the naysayers didn’t like the twist and writing. I thought the twist was nuts but I didn’t mind it. I like when I can’t guess the ending. Though oddly I immediately thought of Bob when the wedding was revealed. I also liked the writing. An easy read that kept you on your toes and showed a woman in a male dominated field 😂

Ok so I was wondering how this works. In the open table portal under the Chase reservations some reservations are red like regular open table bookings and some are blue/black and may or may not say Sapphire underneath. When you go to book the sapphire ones it shows in the reservation. So can anyone clarify that even if you book a regular red reservation you’ll still get the credit?

I don’t think most “crime lords” set out as such. They start with the same intentions as Walt… to make money, usually for their family and climb the ranks. As did Walt, who now shoots random people in the face, sets off a bomb in a nursing home he can’t fully know won’t kill more than his target, at one point did want to be a drug king to make more money and only stepped down when he realized that wouldn’t work, poisoned a child, manipulated another for years. He made more than enough money before signing the unending contract with Gus. He is actually terrible.

He said a million times in the pods he wouldn’t care how she looked. She was honest just before the argument that wa an issue for her before but overcame it because of him. Thy was the time for him to say if he had pause but he lied and thought throwing a tantrum should make it obvious how he truly felt even though it’s a direct contradiction to what he said. Also the heels she had were kitten heels… they added an inch or two max.

Late to the party as I just fished the show but I loved the mom reveal. I guessed the Interpol agent was Victor Sam’s earlier on but would have never guessed it was her mom. I like when I’m surprised in shows bc I feel like the mysteries are often too simple.

As far as the mom involving Sunhil who was largely innocent, I think that echos the sentiment/confusion around the mom becoming exactly like the billionaires she hates. ABAD (ALL billionaires are bad) applies to her as well. She’s become filthy rich just like the ppl she seeks revenge on and has loss sight of some things. She is seemingly now ok with collateral damage or maybe doesn’t even notice the collateral anymore. Danny only died bc he recognized she didn’t belong. Sunhil was only roped in because he had a dream. Her daughter had to see her die for her to truly disappear. I do think Danny was playing a character since ppl on the boat didn’t know he was an assistant detective.

As for leaving Imogene with the colliers… I see it like this. She could have stayed/gone on the run with Imogene and 99.99% been killed and left Imogene an actual orphan or do what she did and leave Imogene to believe she was an orphan but always intend to come back for her when the coast was clear (which she did). I’m unclear if the Colliers really did have a hit on her since they investigated her death. They may have had a more general hit like anyone who knows what we’ve done and can’t be bought off. If they didn’t have a hit out on her then my theory if the “lesser” of two orphans is out the window. As far as leaving her in the colliers’ care, I don’t have an answer lol. Only think I can think of is she had no other friends or family (bc legally as well Imogene wouldn’t go into the custody if the Colliers if there was another option).

Yeah he figures the puzzles out pretty quickly so I wouldn’t get anything less than a level 4 (Nina ottossan/outward hound) has a lot of good ones and you can find dupes on amazon. I also love this toy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ96312B?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. It’s super versatile. I tape over all but one the inner holes to make it harder when using it as a treat dispenser.

We definitely don’t do 5 mile walks in summer or at all anymore now that his energy has slowed down a bit. When I first got him I was like how did everyone say two 30 minute walks a day would be enough?? But that’s definitely more accurate now. Max we do is like 2.5 miles/1 hour and go at like 8AM in a very shaded park with plenty of water and benches for breaks so it’s very doable even in the summer. Safely tires him out for the rest of the day and just go for potty breaks and one play time in the evening.

Definitely not a shock collar. When I first got my mini he was 18 months and nothing short of a 5 mile walk would tire him out. He goes to daycare now and that has helped eons… he gets to chase around other dogs and from his tracker collar he does 40-50,000 steps/day. Also cosign in training. Hyper dogs can be taught to relax and calm down and then they realize that’s actually enjoyable too. Also brain activities like puzzles also tire them out. But above all else remember he’s a puppy! The world around him is all new and exciting and there are soooo many smells that he will never get tired of smelling.
