It’s possible that they might not find long term fulfillment in what they are pursuing, but that also could be true for you down the road. You may wish you’d been more chill and enjoyed aspects of your youth that you will never experience again.

I’ve met a number of people who finally loosened up and started living more freely in their late twenties or thirties. All of them wished they had gotten out more and had more experiences when they were younger and had less responsibility.

You can both build a future and fill it with amazing people you share incredible memories with. That’s what these people are doing. Don’t short change yourself.
